Nice and clean with great breakfast!

Property was well located, 15 min Walk from Ponte Vecchio and easily accesible by public transportation. Johanna was very nice and helpful, room was clean and had all necessary supplies. Bonus points because breakfast was very good. Recommended!

I wish we could have stayed longer! We arrived early and June was so accommodating with our bags and took the time to go over a map of where to go and how to get there. Drinks and snacks are always available and the breakfast was lovely. Book now!!

This was our favorite stay in all of Italy, a wonderful location, comfortable room, with super kind and generous staff and amenities. We would love to return again and highly recommend it to any travelers at all - with or without children. We were able to take the bus easily multiple times and walked to the city center many times as well. We always felt safe and fully enjoyed our time. Joan, who worked at La Fonderia was incredibly kind, willing to help with anything, and did a marvelous job with breakfast, recommendations, and other help as needed.

Lovely B&B in Florence

This is a great place to stay to explore Florence. Clean, quiet, and just a 15 minute walk from the centre. Special mention to Joan who put on a great breakfast every morning to set you up for the day. Highly recommend.

The hosts were lovely, friendly & helpful! Our room was clean but very, very small, as was our bathroom. It feels a little more like a rooming house or hostel. The common area is the kitchen & the door to your rooms entry, is essentially, in the kitchen. It’s very loud with guests coming in & out throughout the evening & chatting in the kitchen, early morning or late evening. They advertise that they have air conditioning but don’t make note that it’s not in use unless it’s summer or winter? The location is reasonably close to the cities attractions but starts to look a little grungy the closer you get to the B&B.

Amazing!

Amazing service! So friendly and welcoming. Very good breakfast! Very basic and simple, bur when youre on holiday that is all you need! I had the room on the top floor that is up a spiral staircase, but i was helped with my suitcase up, but people with mobility issues may struggle. Also the ceiling is very low,l in that room. but that was no issue for me! Overall one of the best b and bs i hsve stayed in, also in an idesl location for exploring florence!

Fantastic place to stay

Just returned from a fantastic stay I can’t express how overjoyed and Impressed with the accommodation, service I received. The breakfast was amazing! Cleanliness was excellent. I was lucky to have a whole little area including bedroom and separate bathroom and little balcony which was exclusive for the single room. I can’t recommend staying at the hotel enough the garden is beautiful too. .

Adorable little place! The staff working here made my trip, so kind and helpful. The breakfast every morning was lovely and could be enjoyed on the beautiful terrace. Room was small but suitable for two people. Had all the amenities we needed. Highly recommend.

Agnes and her staff were friendly and helpful. Great location! Just be careful the single rental upstairs wouldn’t be suitable for a person over 5’9” tall it has a low ceiling and a small spiral staircase upstairs. Worked well for me 🙏

Second time here and still Wow! It's my home away from home thanks to Joan and her warmth and excellent service. What's special is that there is coffee and tea, fresh cake and biscuits, fruit bowl in the common area that we can help ourselves..very generous!

Staff were so kind and helpful. Whilst like room was small it was well planned and had everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely and so nice eating on our own little terrace, garden was very pretty. Coffee and snacks left out for you to help yourself which was great when you get back from a long day sightseeing. Would definitely visit again 😊
