Avoid!

Worst Hyatt property I have ever stayed. Bed platform was tilted back (head below feet). Ripped carpeting all up and down the hallways. Chunks out of the trim and holes in the wall in the elevator. Sticky finish on the room desk where you had to work. Supposedly they were doing remodeling of the 5th floor, but if you ask me, the whole place was a war zone.

Convenient

This hotel is nice and convenient to the area of FT Wayne, IN. All of the staff is nice, and the AM breakfast is not bad on the weekends, the coffee excellent, weekday breakfast LACKS MOMENTUM. I think that once the full renovations are done from the top floor on DOWN it will be a great place stay in. When the hotel is full the HOT WATER slows down a bit, so a cool shower it is Not fun when its 10 degrees outside. But when the hotel is low in numbers of visitors plenty HOT WATER. The sofa bed needs an upgrade. very PAINFUL to sleep on. Coffee pot was broken. We were on the 4th flr and you can see that it TRULY needs the upgrade. But all and all not a bad place to stay in. But A Bigger PARKING IS A MUST. If not your out of luck and have to park across. Saw a car get towed. But don't know if they were hotel visitors. Would stay there again, but only when it is completely RENOVATED.

Check in process was great. Online pre check in, so when I arrived to the hotel, it was really quick. If you want to quiet room, this hotel room is sharing door, so it could be noisy. Very disappointed, there was warm water in shower, there was no hot shower. Very disappointed. Also there was long hair in the tub, was not cleaned… Breakfast was another disappointed. Egg was cold, sausage patties were dried, pancakes were dried and hard. Very disappointed

Pretty good experience

We had a late check in because of an all day dance competition. Checked in just after 10. There were no parking spots on site (many guests were double parked and semi's taking up several spots). We had to park across the street in a dark parking lot (it was just me and my 10 yr old daughter, so not super safe) at 10:30pm in low single digit weather and walk to the hotel with all of luggage. The lobby is nice and the room was spacious but dated. Very few options for television and the staions had lots of static (only 1 kids station, which after 10 is no longer a Kid's station). The thermostat said 42° but it was very warm. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good lots of options. No coffee though. Overall, for $99 it was a good experience.
