STAY AWAY!

Elevator broken, asked when would be fixed and said about a week! Then, wanted me to pay a $200 deposit on my credit card, I refused, he finally dropped it to $50, but actually charged my card as a purchase, not just an authorization hold like all other hotels. Got to our room, no pillow cases on the pillows and no top sheet. Oh, and... we couldn't even check in until after 5pm! So don't believe the 3pm check in that's listed. There was a line of people when we were trying to check in, all with complaints. Find another hotel, it sure wasn't like any other La Quinta we've stayed in, I think it was privately owned.

Great but needs improvement

The property was really good and quiet. Food was great and the pool was good. My mainly concern was the AC unit in my room. Its was very noisy and sounded more of vacuum cleaner and less of an AC unit. Other than that, it was nice

Just little things would have made the stay better. Breakfast was underwhelming, they ran out of clean towels at the pool, found a dead roach in the staircase, the ac/heating unit was very loud if turn on throughout the night. It wasn’t a bad stay but I wouldn’t book the hotel again.

This has to be the most penny pinching hotel I’ve ever been to. The toilet paper was like 1/2 ply of that can even be a thing. The lamps, heater, etc were all unplugged in the room when we checked in and it was absolutely freezing in the room. The breakfast was a joke, the only good thing was the waffle maker. I asked if they had any more sausage with an hour left of breakfast, nope. Really just extremely minimal options. I saw multiple people who had went to McDonald’s or whattaburger to get breakfast and brought it back to eat in the dining area. You can tell they are trying to save everywhere they can. I purposefully booked a place with breakfast included so this was disappointing. The pullout couch had a huge brown stain on the mattress, went to put a sheet on and the sheets had stains and someone’s long hairs in it. It was just gross, my daughter didn’t even wanna sleep on it. One good thing? The staff was nice and helpful.
