Very convenient to train station as well as a Rewe grocery store. Service was also good. Rooms are on a universal thermostat and room was hot for me so asked for a portable fan and one was delivered within 5 minutes to my room.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel. If I had to pick at anything it would be that it was hard to get a cup of coffee in the lobby area in the morning. They looked to have an amazing breakfast but no complimentary coffee for patrons. I did manage to talk the staff into buying 3 coffees for myself and my friends. The cost was $25.97 for 3 coffees.

Nothing stands out and not having an airport shuttle is inconvenient when you advertise that you do. We will not stay at Holiday Inn when traveling.

There was nothing wrong with the hotel, but I have rated it down significantly because of difficulties with the advertised airport shuttle service. We book many months ago and stayed 4 weeks prior (early Dec) with no problems. One of the attractions was the shuttle service as it's too far and difficult to walk. This time, after a long day's travel we arrived at airport late at night and waited at the designated shuttle stop. After 30 minutes we asked other shuttle drivers when the bus was coming and were told that the shuttle was discontinued on 1 Jan 2025. There was nothing to indicate this on the shuttle signage and we were never advised by either the Hitel or Hotels.com. Getting a taxi at the airport is difficult when it's busy, and we were significantly delayed. The hotel check-in staff was sympathetic, and provided a room upgrade to sooth our anger, but nevertheless couldn't offer any satisfactory reasons why we weren't notified. Sure others have been similarly affected since 1 Jan, but customers were not notified. The hotel and Booking agents need to update there information regarding the shuttle.
