Good location. Room was very basic. Not much room for storage. No mini fridge. No coffee maker. It was very hot outside around 85 degrees Fahrenheit so the room was hot. We were told there’s no AC in the spring time so we were very uncomfortable in our room when trying to sleep. Bathroom was nice. Beds were comfortable. Bartenders were very nice and friendly. Front desk staff laughed at us when we asked how to turn the lights on.

We were there when the weather was unseasonably hot and they had the heat on. It made our room on the 5th floor extremely warm and uncomfortable to sleep. We were unable to turn on any central air individually in our room and they said there was nothing they could do. Location is great minus the really loud street racing and partying going on in the street.

This was the last hotel we stayed in as we traveled across Germany. The staff was not completely attentive to us when we arrived. Also they didn't have any snack and drink options available other thenat the bar. We purchased 2 .3 Liter iced teas and it cost 9€ this was way overpriced. I was able to get 2 1 Liter teas for 3€ the next day at the local market. I understand the can add a convince charge but that is taking advantage. Most hotels offer free coffee or have it available in the room but not here. Completely disappointed. I will avoid staying at Motel One going forward.

Nice bar & lobby, tiny room and terrace

The hotel lobby and Bar were beautiful. The location was in close proximity to the Alstadt, but the area itself was just ok. The room was way smaller than the pictures portrayed and the terrace room which we choose the room for, was on the first floor, accessible by any passersby. And the terrace was shared with other rooms on the floor.
