Do not book this hotel. I’ve stayed in over 11 hotels all across Japan, and this hotel is at the bottom of the list.
The website states: “Air-conditioned rooms feature hardwood floors, a flat-screen satellite TV, a refrigerator, nightwear, a toothbrush set, and an electric kettle with green tea. Private bathrooms also feature wooden floors and stylish tiled walls. A coin-operated launderette is available on site”
Well, there was no air conditioning and no laundry on site. WiFi is extremely spotty. The hotel even has a sign stating to limit your video calls.
Stylish? More like extremely out-dated. They don’t even have a key card, they provide you with an actual physical key, in which, if you want your room cleaned, you have to leave it in the front desk. Annoying.
And the lack of air conditioning? The windows don’t even open to let the cool November air in. Prepare to sweat.
The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It’s close to Hakata station, making it easy to navigate within Fukuoka. Other than that, I would spend the extra money to get an actual decent hotel.
