The Manhattan hotel was a good choice

It was amazing. The first night our room temp was 75 so they brought us a fan and then moved us to another room the next day. It is located right in the center of many sites.

Great location, huge modern suite-would recommend

The hotel is undergoing refurbishment and we were fortunate to stay in a renovated room number 1931. Our room was a suite with a living room with two soak queen, sofa, beds, kitchen, a dining area, two bathrooms, one with a shower. The other is just toilet and sink as well as a completely separate king-size bedroom, the room suite was huge for New York standards huge by any standards and was very comfortable. Everything was new inside of it and it was perfect for our group of six. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge and a microwave and a nice sink however it doesn’t have any dishes or amenities to go with that. The check-in process was a bit slow. The lobby is really small but again it seems that it is going through renovations. The gym is open 24 hours, but not really well equipped some of the floors that we noticed as we went up the elevator are still old and based on some reviews that I’ve read I think the older floor is the experience wouldn’t be quite the same, but for us with this location, the size of our room it was absolutely just a perfect place for us to stay for three nights in July. I would definitely stay again.

I did not actually stay - the room they gave me was disgusting, so I cancelled my stay and went to a different hotel. They told me that I would NOT be charged for my stay, but I have been charged almost $1200 for my stay, which I did not use. I am having a very difficult time getting the hotel to refund my money. At this time I have still not succeeded in getting my refund.

Room had a balcony which we weren’t expecting. Air conditioning unit didn’t work well. No water bottles as promised. Not a lot of room in the actual room. Bathroom was unsatisfactory, no extractor fan, door warped and got stuck easily, grouting disgusting, bath uneven. Not worth the money that I paid for it. Cleaning staff left a wet pillowcase on my bed, although sheets were changed, bed was damp. Not happy.

Always stay here when we visit New York. Would like to give a big shout out to Racquel and Manager Liya. Absolutely oustanding service. Both made mine and my husbands stay special especially as it was his 40th Birthday. Went above and beyond and cannot thank them enough.

The staff were lovely. The room looked nothing like the rooms in the photos- it was very old and the air conditioning was not great- it worked, but not well. It is a bit tricky to list your property with photos of what a renovated room WILL look like and not what the current rooms look like.

I paid and reserved a premium/renovated room. When I arrived, I was told that room was no longer available. They waived some fees but refused to refund the extra cost I paid for a premium room. The staff was unhelpful and didnt seem to care. The room was dirty and smelled like mildew, the bathroom door didnt shut, water occasionally not working, and the thermostat didnt work, we were stuck with fan blowing on high. Staff unwilling to resolve. Overall I feel I was scammed on this hotel stay.
