Disappointing Stay - Not Worth the 4-Star Rating I recently completed a 7-day stay at this hotel, and unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations. What was marketed as a 4-star experience felt more like a budget accommodation with premium pricing. The Problems Cleanliness Issues: The room maintenance was subpar throughout my stay. The shower was dirty upon arrival and remained that way despite housekeeping visits. Countertops were consistently dusty, giving the impression that proper cleaning wasn't a priority. I specifically requested shower gel refills multiple times, but my requests were ignored - unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming 4-star status. Unfulfilled Promises: The hotel advertised complimentary wine for guests, which never materialized during my week-long stay. When promises are made during booking, they should be honored. Mediocre Breakfast: The breakfast offering was lackluster at best. For the price point, I expected much better quality and variety. Honestly, you'd be better off skipping it entirely and finding a local café - it's simply not worth the value. The Only Positive The sole redeeming quality was the hotel's convenient location, which made getting around the area relatively easy. Final Thoughts 7 days was far too long to endure these conditions. The experience was a constant reminder that star ratings don't always reflect reality. My advice: Do your research thoroughly and stick to the most recent, detailed reviews.

Staff could do with a bit of retraining

We have stayed many times and found the staff a bit rude this time. We arrived early and they took our bags and said check in was 2pm. We went back at 1 and I inquired was there any possibility our room might be ready. The man at reception didn’t even look up from the computer and just said no very abruptly, it would have taken him 2 seconds to make eye contact. The regular guy at the roof top pool was also a bit gruff and not very friendly. This is just the start of the season can’t imagine what they will be like mid July. If you’re going to be rude don’t do hospitality. Breakfast amazing but the man playing piano goes to break from 9-9.30 so if you want that experience of hearing him play make sure u go for breakfast before or after that time. He is wonderful

Disappointing stay at Eva Senses. Initially given an ‘upgrade’ to a marina view room - unfortunately this room (111) was directly above an ongoing building site, constant drilling and hammering all day. Asked for a change of room but was told hotel fully booked. Hotel is in desperate need of a refresh; clothes drawers and rail in poor condition, toilet seat broken on arrival, no instructions for oldest room safe I’ve seen, balcony dirty from building works below room, restaurant carpet full of stains, you get the picture. Better aspects include the view over the marina, breakfast was fine and it was quiet at night. Only stayed 2 nights, and zero intention of returning. There are far better hotels in Faro.

Wonderful Birthday Stay - Truely Special! Stayed for one night before heading to Porto to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday and was absolutely blown away by the experience. We used the hotel's private transfer from the Airport, which was smooth, professional, and a great way to start the stay. The hotel kindly upgraded us to a suite as a birthday treat, compete with Prosecco and fresh fruit waiting in the the room - such a lovely suprise! The suite was beautiful, spacious, with a balcony overlooking the city and the harbour, and was spotlessly clean. A huge thank you to Rueben for going above and beyond - his warm and attentive service made the stay even more memorable. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend for a special occassion or just a luxurious getaway,

Wonderful hotel heart of Faro

From reception to housekeeping, the staff were excellent every time we had an interaction. The hotel was conveniently in the center of all the activity in Faro and the rooms were clean and well-kept. Some parts of the room appeared as if they needed some upgrading, but overall the entire stay was lovely. The breakfast buffet was excellent as were the steak restaurant and the roof top bar. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel in a great location. Front Desk was slow and congested but staff were very friendly. We had a room overlooking the marina with a furnished balcony. Lovely area to sit and watch the world go by. Breakfast was in a lovely dining room overlooking the water- great views. Lots of choice for breakfast. Nice roof top terrace areas .

Don’t book until renovations done as very noisy

Sadly the spa was under complete renovation which had I know I would not have booked . After I booked and asked about renovations the hotel was very vague about it . Poor communication as I had said it was for recovery after cancer so needed it to be relaxing . We were over the renovations and so had to move rooms and lost the harbour view due to all the noise . Beds very basic
