Fantastic location in the heart of Galway. Walking distance to a lot of things to see and do. Staff were fantastic and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

The room was not overly clean. There was nail clippings on the floor and stains on one of the pillows. When we came in that night we were stopped at the door by a bouncer which is completely reasonable however he made us stand for 10 minutes in the freezing cold and rain because he was unable to spell my name. After I spelt it for him multiple times and gave the room number, and showed my booking he still proceeded to question me!! I was freezing cold and tired and he thought this was very funny!!! On a nicer note the front desk staff were absolutely amazing! We ate in the restaurant and it was lovely, so we’re all the staff!

I managed to book last minute at this centrally located hotel. I was so thrilled. The room was a triple and appeared to be on the top floor as it had gabled windows. There was a table with comfy chairs and the room looked bright and roomy. Upon arrival we checked in to a completely different triple room. It was tiny and dated. Usually when you book a room you choose room type and see various photos. There was only one photo and I presumed this was the style of room I would be getting. Is this the fault of the hotel for not supplying photos of all of the different triple rooms they have or is it the fault of Expedia? I’m not sure. We were super disappointed. Hotel staff did their best and were able to put us in a more updated room that was a bit larger. But still not the room I expected when I booked. Included breakfast was excellent!
