Good stay

Had a good stay only problem we had was on the first night the lifts weren’t working and as I’m 75 and my niece had a bad back we had to walk up to the 4th floor. Next day only one of the lifts was working.

Our family booked 2 rooms, when we came into the building my brother who was staying in another room was with us, and left to go into his room shortly after. Unfortunately about 10 mins later, it being after 12am too, the security guard and another man came up into the room while we were getting ready for bed, banged on the door and asked us whether my brother was in the room with us, which we clarified he was staying in a different room, then told us if he found out he was we would be kicked out of the hotel. The situation was not the problem as I am sure people probably would sneak into rooms, however the way we were spoke to was vile and I was uncomfortable all night staying there in case they came back up to argue some more. My sister who was also with us is autistic and ended up crying and wanting to leave due to the aggression in the workers voice

Decent hotel, very clean. Lovely staff. Short walk to main mewcastle. Only issue was room key not working when my bf tried to get into room snd i was asleep when he went down to get a replacement he was met by a rude person on the desk. Rest off the staff were dead canny.

Clean & comfy affordable choice 10/10

Clean and comfortable hotel, staff were friendly and helpful when checking in. Decent amenities in room and fairly modern. Hotel is only a 20 minute walk from Newcastle city centre. All in all a great choice

Staff, including cleaning staff, were friendly and helpful. I asked for quiet room and that is what I was given , so that despite it being a Friday night and a very busy one I had good night’s sleep in very comfortable bed. Hotel very well situated for Glasshouse concert Hall, easy walk and also easy to get bus into town if needed. As an older woman alone all that was very important and I will certainly stay again.

The hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was amazing with lots to choose from. Only downside was we couldn't park in the hotel car park as was full so ended up paying £24.50 for a car park overnight.

Good location and good value

Right on the quayside a few hundred yards from the millennium bridge with easy access to the bars and restaurants beside the river. Clean and comfortable and a great breakfast, and can't complain about the price.
