We stayed 5 days at la’gent hotel. The room was nice and clean. Room size was big in Japan standard. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable. You can borrow umbrella when rained. Free of charged. About 10 minutes walk from train station to the hotel Lots of restaurants and night life’s closed by. Most of the staffs can speak English well.i would definitely stay in this hotel again. The only Negative about this hotel was the early check-in Fees .

For those looking to stay in the Kabukicho area in Shinjuku, this is a great place to stay. This is a stone through away from Shin-Okubo.

The area was central, however near the red light district so can get a little sketchy (however still felt safe and nothing compared to a sketchy area in the US). The room smelled musty. The staff were super nice. I would stay here again if I had to. Would recommend only bc of how easy it was to explore areas.

Our stay at La gent has been great. The location was close to trains, food options, shopping and entertainment. Walking distance to 3 main train stations that we’ve used. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much for them to deal with. They even booked a taxi for our departure. Breakfast was great with good choices.

The room had enough space for four people. The air conditioning and air purifier worked well. The coin operated laundry facility was also useful during our stay at La'gent Hotel. The location was walking distance to train stations, korea town and donki. Would highly recommend.

The hotel itself is great, however, the rooms are very very small. I understand this is standard in Toyko, but it was difficult to open a suitcase in this room. Area has lots of "ladies of the night" which was also a bit of a surprise. Overall, I wouldn't visit again, but works for a few nights.
