I’ve had better

The only big positive for this stay was the size of the room. It was huge and we had three kids with us. The pool was closed despite almost all the other hotels having theirs open. Breakfast was not the best and almost every bagel was hard as a rock. We had 5 people in a room so we had to keep asking for towels and we were lucky if they had some. The staff however tried their hardest to help out.

Terrible check-in experience!

We had booked this hotel for 1 night stay. We reached the hotel around 9:30 PM and there was nobody at the front desk. We waited for almost 30 minutes and then front desk person showed up. He said that they have been overbooked and that there were no rooms. He asked us to wait another 30 minutes while he got a room ready. Finally, around 11 PM, we had a room. The check in experience was frustrating as we had 2 small kids with us, and they were super irritable as it was beyond their bedtime. We waited almost 1.5 hours to have a room. The room was okay. It had a balcony with river view. Breakfast was okay.

Great stay for the price

We’ve stayed at many different places in Gatlinburg over the years and this is right in the middle regarding quality/cleanliness/overall experience. It’s not the newest or the cleanest, but it’s a lot better than most hotels in this price range in Gatlinburg.
