Great spot

Great location for an early morning flight from Gatwick, departures is literally on your doorstep. Funny little windowless room but felt clean, cosy, and just what we needed for an overnight stay. Did whole check in etc via phone app without needing to see or speak to anyone!

Every th inv about this hotel is great. Location, ease to use and check in, cleanliness, comfort. Apart from the stupid shower rooms. It’s an all in one shower toilet cubical in the rooms so after you shower everything remains wet. Stupid idea.

Room is snug, which is to be expected, but lacks nothing. Bottled water left for you and a coffee machine on the same floor Brilliantly located for flight check in.

The Bloc is an innovative hotel for short stay at Gatwick airport. It's conveniently located attached to the airport with easy access to the Gatwick Express train. The restaurants in the airport pre-security area are a short walk from the room. The innovative check-in, access, and controls from cellphone make it very convenient.

We stayed the night before an early flight with our 1 year old and what a fabulous experience. The check in staff were so welcoming (Zoe), the room was fantastic and what an experience to wake up and already be at departures. Will definitely return.

Just ok

Stay before flight. Ok once you get your head around the lack of space. Really hard to regulate temperature in the room and the noise of the air con makes it feel Like you’re sleeping on the runway. Bed and pillows uncomfortable. On the plus side you are right by security. Perhaps I’d pay a bit more for a hotel experience next time ?
