Grand Rapids holidays and shopping go hand-in-hand. Bring a thick wallet to the Downtown Market, because this place has shops on shops on shops. Retail shops, one-of-a-kind boutique shops and trippy antique stores clump together, ensuring no shortage of variety. The opposite of down is up, so try out your shopping skills in Uptown Grand Rapids, where there’s no shortage of storefronts to grab your attention.

You won’t have to go far from the Downtown Market to eat, because within the Market Hall there’s a bakery, butchery, a restaurant and a produce market. We’d tell you all about the dining options, but there’s just not enough room. You’ll have to taste your way through the market to find out.

Look up in the sky. If it’s black, that means it’s night and time to party.
