Rooms are clean and no weird smells. The food is great and the hotel is pretty accommodating as i needed to checkout late and they happily extended and extra hour free of charge. The showers are absolutely amazing and so is the mirror in the bathroom. You are provided many towels in the room as well as a water bottle for purified water to use in the coffee machine. the pool has an attached section for toddlers to go in and can be montitored from lounge chair or hot tub. Free wifi and cable. If im ever in the area again i wouldnt even question it yeah im staying there

Check in smooth. Room clean. Except for the coffee pot. Had grounds and used tea bag left inside. Nice layout. Spacious. Love the shower head and hand held sprayer. Love the shelving for products in the bathroom too. One long cracked tile in the shower. Office chair fabric severly peeling on the back rest. Lovely hotel and room. Just replace the chair, already. All in all great value. Has in room fridge. Has large pool with slide, gym, bar & restaurant. Great location near Calvin, mall, theater. I'd stay again for the price for sure.

The staff was very friendly and informative. The hallways were unbearably frigid and the room took 45 minutes to heat up in order to take our coats off. When showering the water didnt drain and we had to stand in dirty water on our feet.

We would have rated the hotel much higher until we pulled sheets all the way back on our bed a found turquoise fingernail. I did report to the front desk and sent an email with picture attached as requested. I was told I should expect a call on Monday and it’s now Wednesday afternoon and nothing…..it’s too bad because the location is great, the staff were kind, it does need some cosmetic updates in rooms but I will not be choosing this destination again.

The room was fantastic. It’s just about the only thing in the hotel that was. The bar in the restaurant were not open, even though I had called the property to make certain that they were open and available. The elevator in the hallway to the third floor was frigid. The hotel appeared to be shortstaffed, and the breakfast area was very cold. I do not recommend this property as a matter fact I would like to get compensated for this. One of the reasons why I wanted the on site restaurant was because that area of Grand Rapids is dangerous to drive at night and especially in inclement weather. And much to my chagrin it was exactly as advertised busy and hard to navigate. I would not recommend this hotel until they go and get their heating issues fixed and get staffed back up so that they can keep their restaurant bar open.
