The property is conveniently located. It is a bit understaffed and rundown. Plus each time they had advertised a free continental breakfast and neither time I stayed there was there one available.

For the amount of ppl staying at the hotel per staff seemed very dissproportionate. The pool was crowded and had to be closed several times for cleaning. The "breakfast" options were limited from a list of starbucks breakfast items, and took 25 min to heat up for 1 order. The rest of our family opted to go to the real Starbucks next door. The suite rooms were very spacious.

There was no hot water in the entire hotel. We were not notified of this at the time of our check in. For breakfast they were out of several (of the very few options) of the items on their menu. The coffee was terrible. We had to pull the server away from his cell phone for service. When we told the front desk about there not being any hot water, he said, “the manager will be in at 3pm.” (This was at 9:30 am). After I asked if we would received the news that there was no hot water, He also said, “That’s the hotel business!” He was unwilling to look in to the problem. I am canceling our stay for our return on March 20th. We will not stay there again and we will not recommend it to anyone. Very disappointing!!

I felt that the room needed a huge update. I didn’t like the elevator I was told to use, felt creepy when I got in and when I got off it put me right by the employee lounge and laundry/ cleaning services. They had nothing to choose from for breakfast except a scone and coffee. Will not stay here again

We stay here frequently for concerts in GR. I wish they had a shuttle downtown like they do to the airport, but we always enjoy our stay with Sonesta GR team.

I recently stayed at the Sonesta Hotel and was very disappointed by my stay. Upon arrival my children went to check out the pool and were disappointed to see that the waterslide was not functioning. After our first night we were unable to shower as the hot water was not working. When I inquired at the front desk I learned that the hot water was not working for any of the guests and they did not know when it would be repaired. We requested a partial refund for our first night stay and cancelled the remaining nights. We are thankful we did as our family who stayed for the remaining night said that the water was not repaired adequately in their time at the hotel. Upon reading reviews on a different website I read that other guests have had this same experience with hot water. This problem should be fixed immediately so that other guests do not experience this. It is unexpectable for a hotel to continue to accept guests with a known problem with hot water as this is a basic function that all hotels should be able to supply their guests with. I will not be staying at this hotel again due to my experience.

Microwave in one of our rooms but with no plate. No microwave in the other room or ice bucket. The water slide is closed permanently. Dirty laundry in the hallway. One of the bathroom doors did not open.
