The staff at this hotel was beyond amazing! Everything from front desk in particular two people i want to recognize (Manoela, and Gregory) they helped me with everything and provided me with some very amazing services. They were able to tell me everything about the surrounding areas, and they helped me stay safe with recommendations. The staff upstairs at the Bar were just as amazing, thank you and with out a doubt one of the best stays I have had in a long long time! Highly recommend the 1201/1202 rooms and views! :)

Tiny rooms, bed almost on the floor, old sheets. No cupboards, no way is this a a 4* hotel. Expensive for a max 3* The only thing going for it is the location. Better hotels are available at half the price 5min away.

The hotel is situated right across copacabana beach. The staff understands and speaks English. Staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The restaurant at the roof top serves excellent food at reasonable prices.

Convenient location and quite affordable for being right on the beach. Has a nice roof pool with a good number of loungers, breakfast limited in choice but tasty. We've had the suite with balcony, great views and a nice spot to spend your afternoon. The rooms and bathrooms are really worn out, and cleaning could do with more attention especially in hard to reach spots.

From the moment we walked in we had an amazing experience. Marcs was soooo helpful and attentive for the entirety of our stay! The room was clean, fridge was stocked daily w/ water and juices, hot shower water and cold A/C. Awesome views and service at the rooftop bar. I loved that we could borrow beach towels daily! Walking distance to good food, convenience stores, and Roxy’s dinner show. I will be staying here every time I’m in Rio & I recommend you do as well!

The Pestana is a good, no frills choice if you don't plan to be in your room much! It's centrally located on Copacabana, walking distance to cute restaurants and shops. The breakfast is convenient and fine, but crowded and a bit chaotic. Beach towels could use some updating, especially since it's the only beach amenity offered.

This is not a 4star hotel. Service was great, but the property is rundown, walls are dirty, the beds and bed sheets are extremely cheap. Not worth the price.

Humberto was amazing at check in, check out and in between. He spoke Spanish and English as well which was very helpful for me and my friend. Would strongly recommend this hotel as it is central to everything.

Location, views, rest!

It's a great location on Copacabana with a nice breakfast, although quite busy because if the size of the place. Decent minibar. Rooftop pool with amazing views, bar and meals. However, it closed at 5pm. As with many hotels on Copacabana, its approaching time for a refurb but I had a lovey experience!
