I went there for an Anderton’s guitar event and chose the hotel for its proximity to a train station and the town centre. The people who work there were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The event room is very spacious and has a bar making the hotel ideal for hosting future events. I would have no hesitation in booking another stay and Guildford is lovely town.

Could do better

I stayed for one night. The staff were impeccable. Outragous that a hotel of this standing cannot offer free parking to its clients. cost 3.50/hour I was suprised to see the AC just above the bed. Gave me a chest cold overnight. Also the shower control was impossible to turn if ou had soapy hands or not a wrench type grip
