Good hotel for families

Amazing hotel for first time traveling with our 6 month old. Our room had a separate room that had a door so she could go to bed and we could stay up and not disturb her which was amazing. Also provided a crib. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was also really good.

Clean for the most party but lots to fix up

It was mostly clean overall but lots of little things to clean/fix up. The tub caulking in our room was moldy. The floor boards in our room had missing and broken pieces with tape just covering them up instead of fixing them. The microwave was very dirty in our room. One big thing we did not like as fire safety means alot to us is the use of dollarstore extension cords with multiple things plugged in our room. This morning my daughter turned the blow dryer on to do her hair and we lost power to the entire room. (NOT FIXED BEFORE WE LEFT) Broken windows when you first walk in the building and yucky yellow looking gunk on the windows. I read once we got there that the pool is "under construction" but it is still open with a huge tarp with the wall to outside jack hammered out so it was quite cold in there. No pool towels clean either. We aren't very "fancy" people so no one thing for us was a huge deal but all the little things added up making it not so great. My spouse and I use to stay here 10 to 13 years ago several times and it was such a cozy little clean place near the water but we will not stay here anymore unfortunately.
