Hotel is centrally located and is easy to walk most places from it. The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. From a welcome drink, to assistance with bags, to calling the elevator for us, they were ready and eager to assist. Additionally, they were helpful in contacting our Tour driver, to ensure they were prepared to help us load onto the van. They also delivered our same day laundry from a local family around the corner to our room. The airport shuttle is very reasonably priced and was a nice, relaxing ride. The hotel is older and the rooms are aged, but the bedding is clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this location, especially for its price point.

These Expedia reviews are FAKE, look at the reviews on Google. The description on Expedia is completely misleading. Rooms are downright dangerous, with large light hanging by wires, strong sewage smell (methane gas), and the room clearly had clearly just sprayed the room for insects before we walked in (saw them coming back with the poison). The breakfast is mediocre...don't expect to get seating as the room is too small.

I was travelling with my mum and we had the beeeeest stay there, the breakfast is soooo good, everyone that works there is super nice and helpful, the room is clean and the air conditioning is awesome! The lady that checked us in gave us amazing advice on where to go, cafes, tourist spots and etc & the location is super good. Will definitely come back ❤️

We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel gave us a very big room on 5th floor, which meant quiet nights ( there is a lift too). We paid extra to check in early. Kettle and coffee on rooms. Be advised, the drinks in the mini fridge are not free! Receptionist perfectly nice. Hot water constantly with huge walk in shower. Windows open and also good quiet Aircon. The location is perfect, with a coffee shop at the corner and food stalls all around.

This was a great hotel experience in Vietnam - excellent value for the price! Everything was very clean, room was comfortable and nice, and wardrobe space was great. Had daily housekeeping. Good location - in a cute alley with easy access by walking or motorbike to many restaurants, historical sites, and shopping, close to the lake. Staff were a highlight - the man running the hotel was very helpful and made everything a breeze, plus he's super funny! Breakfast was also great, nice buffet selection of fruits breads and juices plus a made to order menu of eggs, French toast, etc.

If you reserve an airport pick-up one day in advance when you check in, someone will contact you right away. The cheapest accommodation I rented was small, but it was adequate for one person and their bags. The toilet was truly warm, and the shampoo and other goods were of excellent quality. The accommodation was really clean, and I would especially like to thank Sulli for assisting us with our check-in. When I checked out, I asked Sulli at the front desk to ask about my stay and she handed me some water. I gave it five stars because I was completely satisfied.

The hotels location is ideal for exploring the city. Be prepared for the noise of Hanoi. The staff are great and very helpful with any travel requirements. They also have their private car available to be booked for airport pick ups, highly recommend doing this. Overall a pleasant stay.

We had a fantastic stay here in Hanoi. The location is perfect for seeing the sights and sounds of the old quarter, with plenty of restaurant or street food options in easy walking distance, and is an easy pickup location for day tours. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - we felt so welcome every time we walked in the door. Our rooms were great - the joining rooms gave us plenty of space for the family. Breakfast was delicious with a great range of freshly prepared buffet food and options cooked to order - easily the best we came across in our two weeks in Vietnam. A great place to stay!

We stayed in Royal Palace Hotel for several days in early January and again after our trip to Halong bay. The hotel is fabulous and the staff are really amazing. They could not have been more helpful and were always pleasant and friendly. They stored our luggage while we were away in the bay and gave us an even better room on our return. Breakfast was great too. The location is excellent and you an walk to all the sites and the rare great restaurants within walking distance. This is a wonderful place to stay, you will love it.

Very friendly, flexible and knowledgeable staff made out stay comfortable. Breakfast with local specialty and western dishes was tasty. Clothes change space /shower facility was provided after check out, which was helpful as we checked out in the morning and took late night flight on the check out day.

From the moment we entered, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming (we even got refreshing welcome drinks). Our room had a fruit bowl waiting for us when we got there and they added a water bottle for each one of us every morning! They remembered our name all throughout the stay, which made it feel so much more special! The room was clean and had everything we needed. The hotel is situated in a very convenient spot in Hanoi and we were able to access wherever we wanted to go easily. The breakfast was delicious with a large variety of options as well as a menu (also very varied). The staff even called a car to take us to the airport! The room had a TV and Wifi. We slept really well as you can barely hear the outside noise.
