Touristy but comfortable, great breakfast buffet with amazing city views. I had some small issues with the ac in my room but Sam at the concierge desk was extremely helpful in resolving my issues. And in general all of the staff at La Vela Saigon were incredibly welcoming, courteous and hard working. The only real issue I’d point to at this hotel is that it is located at a major traffic intersection — it didn’t affect noise in the hotel but limits walkability in the neighborhood.

Friendly staff though the hotel is a bit out of date like the carpet needs to be replaced. It’s not a true 5-star hotel. The pool view is very nice.
