Location was perfect. At the end of the boardwalk with a quiet beach in front. Beds are hard as a rock. But it’s obvious that the room cleanings are rushed. The headboards and bedside wall mounted lamps were not dusted and had cobwebs on them. Walls had damage that had been repaired but not repainted. Overall not worth the money even in the off season.

The staff was lovely and absolutely the best part of our stay. Unfortunately our room had a plumbing issue where the toilet made a loud noise every time it was flushed and the dust in the room made it hard on my allergies.

I really enjoyed being close to the water as it lent to a peaceful and calming atmosphere. The gentle, crashing waves lulled me right to sleep! As far the room, it was quite clean and spacious with all the amenities. Keep up the good work!

The location and price was perfect for our 5 day vacation. The room was extremely clean and quiet, but the bed was a little too firm for me. However, my hubby slept like a baby. We will definitely be returning to the Henlopen again!

Henlopen was a decent enough place to stay in Rehoboth. The location was perfect and the staff was great. The hotel itself could use some renovations and definitely felt dated, but a good value for what you pay.

The property was well situated. Even though the description on the Expedia website was grand, Henlopen Hotel was simply a glorified motel. Very basic and no facilities. That was disapppinting. The room was clean enough and had a good coffee maker, important to me, and sufficient towels etc. The staff were not very warm and welcoming. The place had almost no occupancy but they did not have the customer sense to move me to a room with a better view of the ocean. Would have cost them nothing and would have made for a happy customer. Would only recommend to the budget traveler with little expectation.
