Property is a mix, some areas need some repair attention (shower) & other areas are maintained. Check in was hindered because the key card machine wasn't working. There was no consideration given (we were told that the manager said no discounts, either we let you into your room or cancel your reservation). It was 10:00pm so canceling was not an option. The receptionist let us into our room, after that one of us needed to stay in the room to open the door. Bed was comfortable. A/C was older & very loud. Bath room was not cleaned well (hairs & dirt on the toilet), toilet paper was left almost empty, the tissues were left empty. Common areas were nice, breakfast was a nice mix of food, well presented & tasted good.

Staff was accommodating. No key for rooms, soap dispenser empty, vents had thick layer of dust over them, room smelt musty, breakfast bananas over ripe and apples were very small and unappealing. We would not recommend this property for the money.

Not the Hampton Inn experience I’m used to.

I booked a handicapped accessible room and when I arrived to check in, they had given the room to someone else, so we had to take a standard room that was much more difficult to navigate with a wheelchair. Also, the key card machine was not working, so we couldn’t get into our room without the front desk staff letting us in. The humidity in the room was super high. The sheets felt damp when we got into bed. Not great for falling asleep. The next morning I went to get eggs and the pan sat empty for quite some time. I asked the staff person if there were more eggs coming soon and she said they were cooking. She disappeared and a few more minutes later came back out and saw me waiting and said that it would be at least 10 more minutes before they were ready. So the breakfast experience was not super great either. Definitely won’t be staying here again.

We didn’t travel with our dog, but saw many other guests who did. Glad to see a hotel accommodating those travelers. Hotel could use a few updates. A wall panel in elevator was falling off. Room entryway ceiling light rattles when guests above our room walk/bounced around. Double queen room- no bugs detected! Thank goodness… and trust me- I looked very hard in every nook and cranny. However, one of the beds in our room showed signs of previous infestation on the box spring cover. If you’ve ever seen what that looks like then you know when you see it. Would recommend trashing that cover and replacing with new one. We didn’t use the pool, but did see others enjoying it. Breakfast- We went down for breakfast at 8:45. Only saw one person manning the kitchen so I won’t fault the employee for not being able to keep up with items that need replacing. I did observe that employee trying/doing their best. I’m sure it’s not easy by yourself. Adding another person would help keep things stocked and tables clean for guests to have a good breakfast. That employee and desk employees were all very helpful and friendly. There is a police department about 2 blocks down the street and a hospital less than a mile down the side road which was nice to see in case of an emergency.

This was a very positive stay experience and I'll stay here again when in this area. One thing that really pleasantly surprised me is that they had the room air conditioning already on and the room was nice and cool when I got there. I don't remember when the last time a hotel did that automatically. Maybe a small detail in some people's minds, but it really impressed me right as I walked in the room.
