Stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment. Mother with 2 teens. Laundry in room was quick and efficient and was surprised detergent was provided. It was a luxury to have a separate washer and dryer. Kitchen was spacious, well equipped and tea towels, sponges and detergent replenished throughout 6 day stay. Netflix available. Mattresses weren’t very thick or firm on king bed or pull out sofa. AC was effective. Bathroom spacious and included separate bathtub. Amenities topped up. APX World Plaza Shopping Centre across the road housed plenty of food options but Coles was a bonus as it was used for supplies and food which I prepared in the kitchen for breakfast, travel lunches and dinner. China Town light rail stop around the corner. It was very quiet and only the odd siren broke the silence. The floor had a very strong smoke smell which was overpowering.

A/C was broken

We stayed for 4 days/3 nights. Less than 30 minutes after check in we told the front desk the A/C did not work. Said they would send maintenance up. This was 1st afternoon. Next morning told them again. The next day it was still not fixed. The room temperature was miserable to sleep at night!

Excellent location for getting public transport, supermarket over the Rd, really handy having our own kitchen. There was a dishwasher, dryer and washing machine, little balcony. Functional but not fancy. Only unfortunate thing was some heavy smoking in the lobby of our floor. Did report to staff, but nothing was ever mentioned again.

We had an 8 night stay over Christmas and New Year and couldn't be happier with our choice. Reception staff were very friendly and accommodating helping with extra towels, which they delivered promptly if they didn't have them immediately on hand, and providing assistance with the aircon which we werent to sure how to set. The location was perfect, easy access to trams and trains, shopping and dining. The room large and clean, the bed very comfortable. Two things that weren't so perfect, the balcony and its table were pretty grubby, so we didn't use it (not much of a view from the 4th floor anyway), and a number of times the hallway smelled like cigarettes on the 4th floor even though it is a smoke free building. Other than that we enjoyed our stay immensely, often having the pool all to ourselves, and we will be visiting again in April.

The hotel is well located easy to get around in the city. We were very disappointed that there was no parking. We found that very frustrating. We came from a long way the Hunter Valley We kept asking for parking which was first come first serve we did not know that Very convenient for people who came on public transport.

I enjoy my stay in APX . The location is very accessible , near to shops and everything is in walking distance. There are plenty of food options. The room we had is spacious and clean , the bed is little bit tough but apart from that everything is ok.The aircoon is good. The receptionist is nice I forgot his name , and it's really helpful that they allow us to leave our luggage while waiting for the check in at 2 pm . We had to comeback three times which is quite tiring because the room is not yet available. The location of the hotel is a bit tricky in the side but still I will definitely comeback and stay again in this hotel. Thanks for the awesome service.
