Lovely experience, the staff were so kind and helpful...our family of four were staying with two of us visiting Harry Potter Studios that day so my husband and son were dropped early at the hotel two hours before check in. The reception staff were so helpful and let them book in early for a swim. The restaurant had a separate gluten free marked up menu which had a varied choice of dishes so our coeliac son was pleased. The breakfast was also stocked with GF cornflakes so he really felt included which was a welcome change. The pool itself was lovely although the changing rooms could do with a spruce up but overall everything was really a delight and we will definitely visit again. It's the perfect stopover if you're looking for a family friendly hotel close to HP Studios as the drive was 15mins.

I specifically booked this hotel for the pool, steam and sauna. The changing room was filthy and very run down. as was the pool and areas around it. It was all badly maintained and in need of a refit, I flagged this with the duty manager, who was excellent - apologising and explaining a refit was happening in future and had been signed off. Her customer service skills were excellent, as was Zoe on the leisure desk reception. I was offered dinner as compensation, which was very much appreciated. The room was fine and immaculately clean, although the pillows weren’t comfortable and the tea and coffee facilities were basic. Food was excellent in the restaurant and good service. There are very little amenities in walking distance, only an expensive garage with M&S concession next to the hotel. Parking is good - it’s an extra charge unless pre-booked.
