I have never left a negative review with VRBO or the other owner rental app. The only positive things I have to say are that the condo was pretty clean and it was roomy. Other than that, our stay was a disaster. We received a message a few hours prior to check in on Wednesday that the refrigerator was broken and one would be delivered the next day. It never came before Sunday. There was a dorm fridge in unit B but it didn’t have enough space to put groceries. We chose to rent a condo so we can could cook breakfast and lunch. It cost me 600 more due to not having a fridge. The owner told me he would give me a refund. Apparently he felt that 150 was appropriate. I spent over 1100 for the week plus 600 in eating out that I wasn’t expecting to spend. The renters before us had taken the key fob (which is necessary to use the back elevator or the pool) so I had to go and get a money order and go to the property management office to purchase a key fob for 24.99. I was supposed to be reimbursed for that also and I assume it was included in the 150 refund. The front elevator broke and we had to use the back elevator. They are renovating the pool so it was loud and smelled badly. The mattress in unit A was comfortable and one of the mattresses in Unit B was. One was not comfortable. The tub dripped heavily in Unit A and it was annoying at night. I informed the owner and he said he would call a plumber. Not sure if he did. I gave daily updates to the owner. I’m VERY disappointed.
