It started with a poor description on how to find my room that a guest staying there helped sort out. I booked as an Executive room?
For a room that sells for between $165 and $200 plus.
The bed in the room had a large crack in the frame you could see through. With a chuck of the wood missing making it feel unsteady and a bit rickerty.
The mattress and sofa were so uncomfortable it gave us back aches.
The tea towel was covered in stains and the crockery didn't match, along with the Anko Kmart kettle the whole experience at this price level was very ordinary.
There was barely any milk with tiny milk pods, and at that room cost level. I am looking for a minimum of decent milk and coffee pod machine and not a trip to the restaurant a considerable walk away to buy coffee for their additional profit margins?
There was no air conditioning, the rooms were hot and stuffy and the Kmart fan didn't make a dent in the room heat.
Listening to someone's TV at 11:45 pm when working the next day left us sore and exhausted.
Looks so much better in the photo's than the experience turned out to be, not repeatable for me as a Tasmanian when there are so many other nicer more comfortable choices near by to stay at.
