It was a very nice and comfortable place to stay in the country with an interesting history. Delicious breakfast and homemade ice cream. Lots of nooks to read and relax. It has a country feel which differed from the other Scandinavian minimalist decors of the other spots we stayed in Iceland.

Awesome hosts. Clear sky’s to see northern lights both nights. Hot tub was very nice and located outside! Horse stable next door! Will be back there next trip!

This place is an amazing place to stay, with dining options right on site. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and lots of leisure spots within the hotel with couches/tables. This place was really great.

The facecloth was nice & thick. The bath towel was old & worn well. The bedding also needs a refresh. I did not shower there, as open shower soaks toilet & sink area. Food was excellent & service fantastic.

The property was located off Ring Road. My son and I got a large room that was very clean and had a porch, the only issue was the room was located by the main desk and breakfast area and in the morning it was loud with people eating breakfast and walking through at 7/8 am.

The staff were so welcoming and kept the kitchen open for us. Wonderful ice cream. Good breakfast service. Dinner options are limited but it was fine. Liked the room a lot, with a couch to sit on and nice seventies vibe. Super comfortable beds too. Lots of pleasant sitting areas around the hotel. The place has real personal touches and we were sad to leave.

It was amazing. Picturesque location im front of the glacier and snow capped mountains. 40 minute drive from Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon. Comfortable beds and bed linen. Spotlessly clean.

We took the south route from Reykjavik and stayed at Brunnhóll. Staff, food, accommodations were all great. Farm fresh ice cream also a big hit. Will stay there on next trip to Iceland.
