Fabulous location, great pool amenities and lobby. Staff very friendly. Room size good and view amazing! Unfortunately the room smelt so badly it was difficult to spend much time in the room. I did ask twice for it to be deodorised however this was not done. It was a cooking fatty smell possibly from kitchen exhaust? We were on the 5th floor. In hindsight I should have requested to move rooms it was that bad. Disappointing given the cost. Also I did have to ask for room servicing to be done everyday and it didn’t get done at all on the last day.

Professional Review Draft: My recent stay presented several service challenges that significantly impacted our experience. Valet Service: The valet staff demonstrated inconsistent professionalism, showing attention only to guests utilizing their services while ignoring others. Front Desk Experience: Despite being an Expedia Gold member, I was denied the complimentary room upgrade typically associated with this status. Additionally, our room lacked a bathtub, which was disappointing given that we were traveling with two children and had specifically requested family-friendly accommodations. Lost and Found Issues: After accidentally leaving my car key at the pool, the retrieval process revealed significant operational gaps. Despite the key being properly submitted to lost and found, staff at three different locations (pool, bell desk, and reception) were unaware of the hotel's lost and found procedures or location. This resulted in a full day of searching and nearly required a $500 tow service. The situation was only resolved when security intervened after noticing the tow truck on property. Overall Assessment: These service inconsistencies detracted from what should have been a special occasion with my family. The lack of coordination between departments and unfamiliarity with basic hotel services suggests systemic training issues.

We fully enjoyed our stay at this resort. The view from our room was incredible and the convenience of having everything nearby was exceptional. We enjoyed the on site restaurants and all of the staff were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I would definitely come back and stay here.

No ocean views, for a 3 star hotel.

None of the rooms listed as partial or ocean view actually offer an ocean view. To see even a glimpse of the ocean, you have to step out onto the balcony. The upgrade isn’t worth it, and I definitely didn’t feel this was a five-star resort. While it’s closer to Waikiki Beach, which is convenient, the Hilton up the road is a far superior resort with much better rooms.

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend and had an amazing experience. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and always went out of their way to help. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything I needed. The location was perfect—close to everything, but still quiet enough to relax. The amenities, especially the pool and dining options, made the stay even better. I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel to enjoy the holiday weekend. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Hotel lobby was beautiful so I had high hopes but was quickly disappointed when we got to our room. I was shocked they are considered 5 stars given the quality of the furniture and the cleanliness of the room. Furniture was pretty beat up, there was hair in the shower and mold on the bidet. After we shared our experience with the hotel and asked for our room to be cleaned again, we still came back to the same hair and the body wash was not once refilled. I would not stay here if you are truly looking for 5 stars.

The room was showing a little wear one of the afternoons we were subjected to a rave party around the pool area it started at 2pm we were no longer felt comfortable it didn't end until 11pm even on the 29th floor the noise was unbelievable

Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach is a clean and modern resort located very close to Waikiki Beach. We stayed with our 6year old child and had a wonderful time, spending the day at the beach and enjoying the infinity pool and hot tub at the resort in the evening. The staff were friendly and very informative, which made our stay even more enjoyable. One minor inconvenience was that there was no microwave available for guests. Although the room had a small refrigerator and an electric kettle, the absence of a microwave made things a bit less convenient. Also, not every floor had an ice machine, so we had to look around for ice. Aside from that, everything about the resort was excellent, and we had a truly pleasant experience.
