The building is older, and while some renovation efforts are evident, the rooms, hallways, and entrance areas are not maintained to a satisfactory standard. Housekeeping services are minimal; while garbage is removed, little additional cleaning appears to be done. The hotel’s location is convenient (you must walk 5-10 minutes to the beach), but it is quite noisy. You get what you paid.

The lobby and common areas were amazing. Our room was super run down, not the cleanest, and the 5AM workers are LOUD!! The pool is so nice and has a good vibe, but really shaded. The bar and people working it are wonderful. It's a very walkable place and the beach is really close. Servicable place, but didn't reach my expectations. Our suite wasn't what is advertised.

waited 4.5 hours to check in with no explanation, then was told my reserved room was gone. front desk staff was rude and confrontational. room had zero soundproofing, an ancient leaking AC blowing directly onto the bed, and a fridge that only cools for two hours. Completely overpriced compared to nearby hotels.

NOISY! Room was OK. I paid for a King room. I was exhausted when I got there and they wanted to make me wait four hours to check in. So, I paid extra for an early check in and when I got to the room it was a double bed! Also a very small room next to the elevator making is extremely noisy. I was pretty busy the entire time so I did not go to the desk and complain. The hot tub is HOT and that is very good!

We had to change rooms three times. The first time because we did not get the king size bed we paid for, it was a double (11th Floor). They move us to a room with a king size bed (2nd Floor). When we returned from exploring Honolulu later that evening, we found that our shower did not work. They moved us to a third room (6th Floor) and there were no power outlets near the bed so I could not use my CPAP machine until the next day, when maintenance came and brought an extension cord. The staff was very helpful each time we had a problem with room. The hotel is in a good location if you don’t have a vehicle.

Nice hotel. Coffee shop, store, restaurant all on the main floor. Located in a walkable area, close to the beach and many shops and restaurants. Only have valet parking and it's $61 per night. The miniature golf they offer is not accessible as the valet park cars on it. :( We came back to our room on our 2nd day to find our door open. Apparently the lock engaged on its own causing the door to open. They were very accommodating in getting us into another room (when I thought someone broke in and didn't want the lock to do this again). They told my husband that this happens. I hope they fix this issue, as it is a large deterrent of me staying here again. Otherwise, it a very nice hotel.

Had a great stay here during our week in Hawaii! The room was very clean and perfect for what we needed. A comfy bed, free coffee in the room, very nice shower and good hotel amenities. Matt at the front desk works very hard and was amazing to us all week. We really appreciated his hospitality and friendliness. The room was great, the only complaint I have is the amount of noise that comes from the single pane glass doors for the balcony and the hallway. The doors are quite thin. Unfortunately the music and talking by the pool/hotel bar was quite loud most nights but can be overlooked as it ended promptly around 10pm when the pool closed. We will definitely be staying here again next time we come visit. The hotel is at a great location and offers an affordable stay without compromising on any amenities. We especially loved the complimentary towels and sunscreen offered on site. Didn't get to take advantage of the free rentals at Twin Fin or the GoPros they offer but will make sure to use them next time! Thanks again :)
