Compare Ski Hotels in Houma

This was by far the worse stay I HAVE EVER HAD. Below are some of my issues. These after spending most of the day helping my daughter move out of her college apartment. Got to hotel late that evening around 10 pm. Checked in and went to the room. Disinfected like normal. Turned pillow over to spray and a bug is crawling on the back of the pillow. Went to front desk complained. And was given another horrible room. First the ac unit was unusually loud and made a knocking sound. Second, flying insects in bathroom. Not mosquitoes but small insects (2) that look like a microscopic bat. Didn't report because afraid would be given an even worse room. This place is not worth staying. Run Run Run. If we were not sooo tired, we would have definitely gone somewhere else. Of course we slept with one eye open. Out of there first thing in the morning. NEVER, NEVER AGAIN!!!

Awful place to stay

Overall - good hotel, wonderful staff. However, if you are traveling with handicap - this is not a good hotel choice. Handicap room, had very little room to maneuver a wheel chair. The bath had no bench, and while it had bars, was in no way accessible. There were rails in bathroom, but none designed for toilet use. The room appeared to be a normal room that the elected to throw some metal bars up haphazardly and then define it as accessible. So while the other parts of the hotel are fine, and the staff was great - this is NOT AN ACCESSIBLE HOTEL.
