The breakfast was excellent and rare! The room was clean, spacious, and clean. I found the bedroom to be comfortable. The garage parking was so so. The security measures to enter the hotel was off putting- but, maybe good/needed I did not feel safe walking out as the night fell and returned to the hotel. An unfortunate part of most cities these days. Sunday was a ghost town in Houston and this added to the strange feeling around the property. The price was good and the breakfast was exceptional.

Good value for money. My room was cleaner and newer than I expected from the appearance of the building and lobby. Staff were polite and helpful, but also fixated with getting me to scan a QR code and leave a 5-star review specifically mentioning their name, so I do wonder about the work culture of this place...

Bad business practice

The stay wasn't bad, except for the fact that my son, whom I booked the trip for, got charged $50 extra for not matching his ID to a credit card he was using for incidentals. This was his birthday present from us for him to be able to attend a gathering with friends and not have to worry about him having to take a long trip back home in the middle of the night.

It was okay I personally wouldn't stay again. It had a weird smell as soon as we walked in and for some reason every 30 min this smell started coming from the bathroom that smelt like sewage.

Convenient hotel amenities! There is a hotel shuttle that takes to places around houston under 1.5 miles. Dave was our regular shuttle bus driver and gave us awesome recommendations for food and places to visit. Jose from the breakfast buffet was really nice and always kept a smile busing tables and restocking food. Overall, the place was generally clean but minor things in the rooms could be updated like the bathroom hook that fell off randomly.
