We had a small issue with our AC. I called the front office and they sent maintenance to fix the issue. Resolved in about 15 min. This location is great for walking… Toyota center is about 12 min away and eating was about a 15-20 min walk. Also, the hotel is across from the metro- east on and easy off!

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed on a Tuesday and had complimentary drinks and appetizers. We used the complimentary shuttle and the train that stops right in front of the hotel.

The experience at this Holiday Inn was very nice! The receptionists were very responsive and helpful during our check-in. Additionally the property was clean and other staff was friendly. Only downside I’d say is that the curtains in the room don’t completely shut so light woke me up in the morning. However this property is a perfect location and is safe/walkable to House of Blues

Came to this Holiday Inn to catch a Pelicans and Rockets game. Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great as well. The elevators are small, cramped and slow! Doesn’t seem like a big deal until you’re on it with 8 other people, no joke! The air conditioner in the room was extremely noisy. Worked well but each time it came on it would wake all of us up. Literally. There was also loud hip hop music coming from a room down the hall until almost 2am. Didn’t call to complain because I really didn’t want the hassle at that point because I was already being awakened each time the air conditioner came on. Both Friday and Saturday night the outside noise was loud as well. From cars doing burnouts to sirens and other loud noises it was hard to get a good nights sleep. Overall, the place is clean and staff was friendly. Good breakfast and walkable to the Toyota Center.

Area surrounding hotel is noisy at night, but I used ear plugs and slept well. Walking around at night was discouraged by some nearby private security guards, who directed us to better areas. However, daytime strolling is safe, especially in groups. Staff is attentive, responsive, polite. They allowed us to store our luggage for a few hours after checkout so we could go out for lunch. We appreciated this convenience! Breakfast (included with room charge) was very good - fresh fruit, good coffee and juice, hot foods like scrambled eggs, sausage links, hash browns, waffles. Rooms were clean - no mold, no smells, etc. Sheets, pillows, bedspreads were like new. TV, coffeemaker, shower, toilet were all functional. Exercise room was clean and functional. Shuttle available on site (first come, first serve) for trips within 1.5 miles. Thank you staff!
