Staff was great we had a clogged tub that they fixed immediately. Room had a roach and a few ants and ac wasn't cooling the room enough. Paid for what we got, quick stay for the Metallica concert and walking distance to stadium. Breakfast was ok

This hotel is disgusting. Everything is dirty or falling apart. Not all doors lock properly. Buildings have a weird smell and I woke up to roaches in my room. Trying to get refunded but the manager is never there and won't call me back.

I got what I paid for. Very affordable & convenient for my appt. All the staff were nice from the front desk to housekeeping. I arrived early, check in is 3:00pm. I called beforehand, asked if I could sit in the lobby of hotel, and if a room became available may I check in early, front desk was kind, said yes. At 11:00 am she notified me that a room was available. I went in the room there is black mold on the bathroom & bedroom ceiling due to moisture is not able to escape the room. The fridge is missing pieces of a shelf and there is no glass bowl on the coffee maker. The smart tv does not connect to WiFi, due to internet being slow, front desk did mention call tech support. I didn’t bother, used my phone. The chairs in the room are dirty and wore down. The ac worked and can become very cold, it can be adjusted. The next morning noticed two baby cockroaches crawling out the bathroom. I had to go to a Dr’s appointment did not have time to notify the front desk. I return, informed the front desk, she said I could move room because maintenance was gone for the day. I decided to stay in the room because if they are in one room they are in another. Later that night noticed a bigger cockroach in the corner near the door. I purchased roach spray and sprayed the room. I do not like nasty bugs and the spray eased my worry. Didn’t eat breakfast or used the ice because of the pest problem. I checked out the following morning.

I was really pleased with my stay. The free breakfast was a huge part of how awesome my weekend was. One of my biggest pet peeve is to have a really good shower with water pressure. I love a good shower and my room have a good shower, so I had no complaints all weekend.

The customer service was good, but the room was poor. I had a very weird smell. There were spiders and spiderwebs all throughout the room. There’s no telephone in the room to notify anybody. Extremely disappointed in the hotel we stayed and the room we were given. It’s reasonable to refund us for the room stay. The room did not have a working TV and the A/C was infiltrated with dust and mold. To add to that, we couldn’t use the balcony because it was covered in bird poop and algae. This hotel was not sanitary whatsoever. I’m disappointed that my experience was so poor.

Pleasant stay

Room and bathroom were clean. Curtains need replacement. Maintenance responded promptly and resolved problem with tv. Excellent location for our trip to NRG Stadium. 15 minute walk and avoided traffic jam. Thanks!

Spend money else where

The hallway of building one smelled horrible as though someone was *smoking* in it. The smell made our room stink as well. The toilet was not securely fastened to the floor and rocked back and forth, and the toilet seat was also coated in something. Definitely a budget stay, but will spend the money elsewhere in the future.

Terrible and disappointing

When we first walked into our building, we were met with the string odor or weed and fruity scents, either from a vape or something to attempt to cover the weed smell. It was throughout the entire hallway. we then received a room that had the AC blasting. We realized it was because the AC was broken, with a soaking wet carpet and the awful smell of mold. We asked for a new room and they were more than accommodating, apologizing and saying they didn't know. The next room was better, but very run down and had a large spider with webs in multiple corners, smears of something on the walls, and cigarette butts on the patio. Unfortunately though that's not all. The fitness room was closed due to renovations with no notice. The outdoor pool, to our surprise, looked wonderful and was lit up well for night swim, so you can only imagine our disappointment when we went to use it and it had a sign that said "Closed until further notice." The fact that the hotel has a pool was why we cancelled another reservation that did not have a pool and booked this one instead, so that was just icing on the cake. For $100/night or more, this is absolutely not worth it, I would expect rates of $49-$59/night. The staff and cleaning staff were extremely pleasant, but that is not enough to overlook the conditions and the homeless who are living at the closed down Denny's in front of the hotel. Do not recommend.

The room was very dirty looked like it had barely been wiped down. Luckily we didn’t have to stay in the room most the day or we would’ve definitely rebooked somewhere else. Outside around the building were very dirty. The fridge in our room was DISGUSTING and smelt like rotted food had been in it forever. Definitely would not return to this location due to cleanliness.
