The staff was very very courteous and breakfast was good, but it is clear that the carpets need a cleaning and the chair in the room seemed dirty. It is also obvious that the bathroom door was an old door that was painted over. The bottom of the door has water damage. Water pressure was also very poor for the shower.

The Hotel was nice; however, I booked a room that stated it was a king bed with a pull-out sofa. We got there and there was no pull out. I asked the front desk for a roll away bed and she said they were all in use, I asked what I was supposed to do with my 14 year old, as I booked a room that sleeps 3. With little care and no apology she shrugged her shoulders. I had to go out and purchase an air mattress for her to sleep on. Making my stay cost additional money because the room was incorrect or incorrectly advertised.

Breakfast had different options every day, but I would not consider it top quality food. Bed was comfortable. We stayed 4 nights and 2 of those it was very loud with lots of girls running all over the place, dripping wet coming out of the indoor pool, and no parental supervision to speak off. That went on till 10 pm when the pool closed. Apparently there was a sports event in the area. Lots of doors slamming till late, 2.30 am, from the entrance at the end of the hall. Sink faucet is loose, room 132. No housekeeping for our 4 night stay, so trash piled up.

Three night staying at the hotel with no change in bedding. No new towels. Hair on bathroom floor, two big clumps and hair in the shower floor and walls. Then Saturday morning no hot water for showers. Will not be staying there again.

I need an affordable place to stay in Indy's north side/Castleton area, and Hampton Inn fit the bill. The only reason I’m giving it 4 starts instead of 5, is because I stayed a total of 3 nights and my room was not cleaned, nor was I brought fresh towels the entire time. Other than that. This hotel was ideal. My room was updated, the bathroom has great water pressure and steaming hot water and the bed and pillows were comfy. Location has tons of eateries, shopping and the interstate is literally west of the hotel. Not bad. I will stay again. PS: As of 10/12/2025, the elevators were functioning.
