For the price not brilliant but not bad

For the price bracket I expected a bit more considering breakfast wasn’t included. I don’t drink tea or coffee and there wasn’t any bottles of water in the room, 2 glasses but no water.. No welcome pack and no timings for breakfast if you decided to have it on the morning like we did. Beds and bedding were nice and cosy.

Pub closed!!!!

Not a great stay due to the pub it is linked with being closed for refurbishment. I do realise these things need doing but not to advise of this when booking is very poor customer service. I booked and after a long deive then had to drive again to find somewhere to eat unless you want a burger. I was even asked to book a cooked breakfast but actually it was a bag with two i stant porridge pots and a bag of alpen. Stayed with this group before and was good but this time extremly poor service.

This inn is basic and without pretense. It is clean and well maintained. There is a pub across the parking lot called The Mermaid which share employees with the inn. The people here are fanastic, always genuinely smiling and friendly.
