Well we loved the location, we don’t need all the frills. But, we were told we would have a top floor room and did not. I talked to the gentleman at the front desk, he told me that just because Expedia says top floor, that it does not mean top floor. So after I got a little upset, he took me to a top floor room and showed it to me. No place to sit on the balcony except a small metal red chair. Their rooms are not furnished much at all. Tables with no chairs, also the AC only works if you leave the key in the room. And you only get one key. Thankfully after the second day, a housekeeping staff member left another key. I asked the first day for 2 keys and he said no. One key only. The inside or the hotel does not have AC except in the rooms. Restaurant: Staff was not friendly at all, had to go to the bar for drinks, even though the waiter was there. He didn’t bring drinks to the pool evidently. Breakfast was said to be free. But it’s tricky. I would have never known there was as a restaurant if I had not seen it on their website. We ate breakfast one morning and it was good. The pool was very nice and clean and had amazing views!!! So it was not all bad. Cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful. There was one guy selling trips in the lobby, just doing his job, but kind of pestered us the first two days, not a big deal. The balcony has gorgeous views. Just make sure you have furniture. It feels like they opened the resort and ran out of money.

Beautiful facility. Modern, clean, filtered water through out building. Great location, away from the heart of the traffic and less then 5 minute walk to either Playa Norte or Playa Centro. My only wish was that there were umbrellas by the pool.

The staff was rude at the restaurant and did not allow us to bring in food at the table. However, the pool area was beautiful view, and the kids enjoy the small pool. Just not the restaurant, rude staff. I do not recommend to din there

It was an okay hotel for the price. On the room description it said private pool but that really just means that it’s a pool for the entire hotel but only people staying at the hotel can use it. Also said 1 pool was a.children’s pool but then told both were family pools. The water pressure in the shower was awful. I had to use the shower by the pool to wash my hair. The lighting in there was very dim as well. They are very tight with the towels. We didn’t even have a hand towel or wash cloth or a towel to put on the floor when getting out of the shower. (Not that we were wet enough to need one with the water pressure and all) There isn’t a whole lot of good lighting in the room and our ceiling fan light quit working, which was the main light for the room. Our partial ocean view had more views of neighboring roofs than ocean but you get what you pay for and I wasn’t visiting the island to stay in my room the whole time. It was a good location on the island and you can walk to alot of things within 10 minutes. I asked for some ice for my cup and they wanted to charge me $20 pesos. Food was average. Staff was nice. Room are very spacious and clean.

Quick getaway. Booked my flight Friday the 4th and departed Sunday at 6am. The room was available and $85 a night !!!!! Excellent 100/10 I will be back in October!!!!!🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹

Staff were very friendly, room was large and clean and had a lovely ocean view which was perfect for watching the sunrise (despite some sargassum on this side of the island!). We were given a welcome drink on arrival which was lovely too. Air conditioning worked brilliantly, the balcony was large, and the room included a large smart TV and a coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable too. We didn’t use the pool very often due to Playa Norte being so close by, but when we did it was clean and a nice cool temperature. Easy to walk everywhere from this location, plenty of restaurants nearby, and buses/taxis to Kin Ha beach club were affordable (20MXN bus/150MXN taxi). One thing we did not like about the property was the smell throughout our room, it was like damp/mild sewage. However, we didn’t complain at the time as we weren’t spending too much time in the room anyway, but it could be quite bothersome for some people. The included breakfast was okay but options were quite limited (eggs, pancakes, or quesadilla) and the portion sizes and sides included were quite inconsistent. However we enjoyed our stay overall :)
