Compare Ski Hotels in Isle of Palms

This was a pretty basic hotel. It needed renovating. The paint was peeling on the floor of my shower pretty bad. I had no trash can at all in my room. There was something weird going on with the shower curtain and it wasn’t big enough to spread across the whole shower so bathroom floor always wet. My room had 1 window, I didn’t expect an ocean view necessarily, but the view from my window was right into the hallway where people walked, all I could see was the hallway wall. They only had blinds, no blackout curtains so the light from the hallway shined into the room all night. Overall mediocre place to stay. I will say the location was excellent, great beach area and popular restaurants directly next door.

My room was so dirty the first night that my feet were black from walking from the shower to my bag three steps away. The front desk staff Sunday- Thursday were so incredibly rude. I look “alternative” sort of. I’m tattooed and have vivid color hair. However, I’m in my 40’s I don’t party. All I wanted to do was seacomb for our anniversary/birthday trip. When we asked about parking she couldn’t be bothered to look at us and explain about parking in a city we’ve never been. Listen, I’ve stayed at 5 star hotels. I’ve stayed at 1 star hotels. This hotel is a painted motel with a luxury price tag. Beach is bomb. Maintenance and housekeeping people were so kind and helpful for the record. Breakfast was basically hot water and oatmeal, bread with nothing to make anything taste good and pancake machines. No honey. No brown sugar, toppings. This stuff came from Sam’s not anything

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect location. Got to enjoy the beach and easy drive to downtown Charleston.

Host messaged from their email vs. through VRBO so was a little confusing on receiving the check-in instructions. Beautiful place, management company was quick at informing us of the HOA's gate code change. Would book again!!
