During my recent stay, I encountered several issues that might be important for potential guests to consider. Firstly, I did not receive any VIP upgrades, and the room assigned to me was quite small. Additionally, I noticed that the smell of cigarette smoke permeated my room, which was unexpected. The location was near a busy road, resulting in significant noise from pedestrian traffic and disturbances from the room above. Furthermore, I found the recommendation for the tour guide to be overpriced and not a good value for the money. It appeared that the arrangements were previously established, likely for commission purposes with the concierge. Potential guests may want to explore alternative options for tours and accommodations

Overall great little hotel. Staff is friendly and rooftop restaurant is a must with their excellent team especially Adnan and Cere. The only complaint I have is that the twin bed bedrooms on ground floor are WAY TOO SMALL. No hangars, no room to maneuver and minimal natural light. These should be half price vs other rooms. Other than that great place!!

Highly recommend! The king suite was very clean, modern, quiet and comfortable. The A/C was a god sent as the outside temperatures were hot. 10 minutes walk from Sultan Ahmet and all the tourist attractions. The room is well insulated and you don't wake up to the sounds of Ezan (muslim prayer) or the city. The sauna, hamam, and pool were amazing after a long day of sightseeing. The rooftop restaurant offers a generous buffet breakfast that is well worth the price when you book the room and has a lovely view of the bosphorus. All in all, we were extremely happy with Amiral Palace, its friendly staff and all the accommodations. I'd go back to it in a heartbeat.

Exceeds Expectations

This hotel is really well situated, near all the main sites, with easy access to transit. The staff were lovely and very hospitable. We had an issue with the AC in our room the first night, and the staff immediately found a solution for us and put us in another room for the night, without the hassle of having to move our luggage and belongings over. The breakfast was first class; special shoutout to Mohammad who worked at the restaurant and was at our service for anything and everything we needed while we dined. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who comes to Istanbul.
