The lobby of the hotel is beautiful, I am not sure if it was the room I stayed, but both cleanness and construction were ver poor. Walls were w/ significant cracks, in the bathroom it was the worst. Room I stayed w/ significant dust, especially front of the windows where the beds are located. Cleanness usually is a good trait of people in Turkey, I was surprised this poor cleanness in the room. Staff is kind, breakfast is good. They have to take care of the rooms like the way they do the hotel lobby. I would not chose this hotel again.

This was our second stay here. The location is perfect and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast is great as well. If you have elderly persons or persons with mobility issues the walk up the hill to the blue mosque may not be for them but if not you are there in under 10 minutes with easy access to the main transportation links including the hop on hop off bus.

The rooms were a bit small but since we booked 3 connected by an hallway, all for our family, so it worked out. But what really bothered me was the motion sensor on the lights in the hallway. It was our area where we kept luggage and the light kept going off every few seconds. I asked the staff to turn off the timer or delay the time to every 20 minutes or so but it never changed. That really made our packing and every day organizing in that area hard. Also, breakfast seem very basic. I wish they had an option to update to traditional breakfast spread. But for the price we paid, it seem like a very decent place and location was unbeatable. You can also catch a view of blue mosque from rooftop! Overall good facility and helpful staff.

Both hosts Irfan and Ismael were super nice, helpful and true gentlemen. Its a beautiful little hotel located in the heart of SultanAhmet district where all big istanbul attractions are at walking distances and probably 50 restaurants at 1 to 10 mins walk. Their breakfasts were pretty decent with a beautiful views looking at the ocean from their terrace.

Decent hotel close to Blue Mosque and Hagi Sofia

A good choice if you want to be close to the major tourist spots in Istanbul Old Town. About 10 mins walk from Tram stop but plenty to do in walking distance. Room good size and comfortable bed. Unfortunately air con only on heat mode so room rather warm at night. Breakfast selection pretty good, although no meusli or yoghurt which was a bit surprising. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend it.

Darussaade Hotel staff were very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was very good with different options. The hotel is only five years old so it is very up to date but with a classy look in the room. Shower water pressure was very good. Close to everything. Bed comfort is one of the best of any hotel I traveled to before. I highly recommend it :-).

Darussaade is a charming boutique hotel located in the heart of Sultanahmet, just steps away from iconic landmarks like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The rooms are cozy. The staff provides exceptional service, always going the extra mile to ensure guests feel welcomed and well taken care of. Breakfast is a delightful spread of fresh Turkish specialties, served in a lovely dining area.
