Bedroom carpets have seen better days - stained and not cleaned during our 10 day stay. Staff generally curt and unfriendly. Long delay in room service preparing room. Usually left it at 10am but unable to return until nearly 3pm. We left room tidy and all that needed to be done was to replace towels and toilet rolls (which we had to go and seek on two occasions). Breakfast good but no cut fresh fruit available (only whole bananas and apples).

We had a wonderful stay in The Savoy. Our room (overlooking the pool) was spotlessly clean and roomy. The bed was very comfortable and there was a good shower. Breakfast was excellent and the evening meal we had was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool/pool area were lovely and a great place to relax after a busy day. Highly recommended.

Hotel was great. We lost a day because of rough seas. We had to pay £16.50 for parking. They would not refund the lost day because we didn’t book direct with hotel , but through Expedia. We had to pay for parking because we didn’t book direct , but through Expedia. We have lost money through booking with Expedia , our lesson is learnt , next time book direct , Expedia cost us money unless you are of course prepared to make up our loss.

Great hotel and lovely to have the swimming pool and a small gym too. Unfortunately, our room (room 56) did not have any hot water when we stayed. Apparently other guests in room 50 also did not have hot water. Also, the breakfast area did not open until 7:30am - 7 am would be a better time to open up (especially for guests with children).

Really enjoyed our stay at The Savoy. It is a good 20 min walk out of the centre of St Helier. Super clean, lovely friendly staff. Delicious food (lots of choice at breakfast & gorgeous lamb for dinner). Lovely pool, when the weather permits use!

The staff were friendly and helpful however I notified Expedia that I had a disability but the hotel took no notice. I was put on a floor with no lift, no shower (only a slippery bath with a leaky shower fitting which resulted in a fall in the bath. After I fell they provided an anti slip mat. Also the narrow stairs were difficult to manage as there were no handrails. Other elderly guests were moaning about the same issues.

The staff were amazing, especially Loraine who helped efficiently with an issue with my Sister and Mums room. Professional, kind and wonderful. The maintanance man, washed our car as we had a rather large deposit from a seagull on the front windscreen. The breakfast was outstanding, great food and drink choices included with the package. As with a lot of the hotels in Jersey, the bedrooms need updating and felt the extra payment for parking at the Hotel was unnecessary. Most people will hire a car. Even though, we had a comfortable and friendly stay. Good position as it's not far from the town center and the harbor. Big shout out to the staff who were all very friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay more comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Property is a grand old property. The heating was on and made the room too hot. There were no stays on the windows which meant they banged back & forth in the wind when they were open because the room was too hot. The curtains did nof close and therefore as soon as sunlight rose the room was too light to sleep. Bed was squeaky when sitting or alighting.
