We stayed here before and was always a fair place to stay. Reasonable price, complimentary breakfast. Bad news: We had tickets to visit an event in Kansas City so we booked our room 3 months in advance. Check in is at 3pm. We arrived at 3:35pm and our room was not ready. Maintenance issue, minor we was told. We weren’t able to get another room and wasn’t able to get into our room until 4:05pm which made us late for our event that we had already paid for in advance. Our trip to Kansas City did not go as planned because we were not able to check in until an hour after the scheduled check in advertise. I would think they would compensate us for our lost. Oh well, that’s was our stay at the Comfort Inn.

Pros: Easy check in. Nice staff. Adequate breakfast and dining area. Cons: Dirty carpet smelled musky like they tried to cover it up w/carpet deodorant and cleaners that failed. Celing by room window coming apart and stained. Dirty fingerlrints on wall, black beetle bugs on carpet, fire sprinkler coming out of ceiling. Not what the pictures show. The front door was coming off the tracks. Walk into hotel and there is an older man sitting on the couch coughing up a lung and messing with his foot- no shoes on…. Hallway was dirty and carpet in room needs a DEEP cleaning. Room had an odd smell. Place needs a cleanup!!!

We stayed here for one night for the chiefs game and it was gross. The rooms were not clean, smelled like pet urine, cob webs everywhere, dirty carpet. YUCK. One of the beds in our room had a huge hole in it also so whenever we went to bed it sunk down. Wouldn’t stay here again.
