Disappointing stay

The heat wasn’t working in our room and it got down to 54 degrees. The tub faucet had a stream of water that constantly ran causing the whole bathroom to stay wet. The bathroom sink didn’t run and there was a light out by the bed. Maintenance was able to get the heat running later in the day and he was able to fix the sink and light but the water running in the tub never stopped. The pool and hot tub weren’t available off and on during our stay. The air hockey table broke down while we were there. Most of the staff was very friendly (we only ran into one bartender that was rude). We paid for parking but one night there were no spots available and we had to park in a back access way.

Needs work

While they had been sold out the night before, they didn't do a thorough job cleaning the room. The hot tub was closed, our bathroom door was off its hinges, someone had flushed a bar of soap down the toilet, and we didn't have any bath towels stocked in our room. Other little things like broken elevator buttons, rips in carpet, and chipped walls didn't add to the space.

Unpleasant over night stay for me and 3 children. Maintenance issues May at night, pools broken during spring break with no notice given prior. Paying $500 for an outdated property when the amenities are not usable and you are locked out of your room twice late at night is too much inconvenience for this price!

Embassy suites is always a go to for us. They had a booked weekend and 3 elevators just cannot accommodate, not a staff issue but they need more efficient elevators. Aron at the front desk was quick and kind, and put some line cutters in their places. However, we asked for more pillows twice and never got them. Couldn’t get breakfast due to full house. No parking, due to full house yet still had to pay 25$ parking fee. Great location. Bed was decent, tv would work on and off. Needs some updates or expansions. Had no pool towels. Happy hour drinks were on point, however the snacks are not. Will stay again because of location but they need to do some renovations

I think the score of 6/10 is fair. The property is nice. I felt safe. Breakfast was amazing. Staff that I talked to were nice. Room was clean/TV was useless. Cons. Not everything that is listed as amenities is actually present at the hotel. Dining was very limited. I did have a cheeseburger at the bar. It wasn’t a good burger. No housekeeping in my room. Bed was comfortable. Very dark at entrance with people hanging around. There was limit signage and no information in the room. There was no one to help with my bags and no trolly that I saw. Had to make multiple trips to my car. Very close to St. Luke’s which was why I was there. Maybe cater to families with a discount, a shuttle and more food availability. When I arrived around 830 pm I didn’t want to go to the bar so had to go to the store that WAS close. I was alone so that was a little scary. Room service is not available. I didn’t even realize there was a snack area until I came back from the store.

Been going to this Embassy for years. It’s kind of sad to see the decline in the rooms. The last few years it specifically seems to be with the bathroom. This trip the water had been running so much into the tub that the finish on the tub was gone and you could see silver. Also the tub didn’t drain very well. Took about 10 minutes to drain shower water after use. Front Desk did reach out and when they found out my issue wanted to send someone to the room. At the time it wasn’t a good moment so I told them no. I also knew that what was wrong with it wasn’t just a Quick Look from maintenance. Staff was great though and always love the design. Wish parking was just in the price and not additional. Kind of dumb when it’s the only parking option for guest.

Initially we had room 1102 the night stand drawer was damaged and would not close properly, the closet door was off the hinges and on the floor the carpet was burned with an iron and the computer chair was wet and saturated as if someone spilled something in it leaving my daughters pants wet when she attempted to sit down in the chair. Which I did not get photographs of because the stain was on her backside area. We were then moved to room 1113 the bath tub was leaking and had to be forcibly turned off and continued to drip water. After finally getting settled in our room we headed to the Pool and it was closed at 6:30pm although it is not scheduled to close until 9pm . I was really disappointed being one of the main reason for choosing this Hotel was based on the indoor pool.
