I reserved a room with extra space for a 5th person and the sofa bed was broken. The staff member immediately found me a rollaway bed instead which worked. The air in the room had a smell, just needed some movement. I liked the big spaciousness of the room. It would have been nice to have a bigger bathroom for that many people. Also the faucet in the bathroom had very low pressure and was difficult to get a steady stream of water in the sink. Thankfully we had an extra sink next to the mini fridge we used to help with that issue.

Nice staff however they do not clean or maintain the rooms during your stay. We always had to ask for new towels, toilet paper and basic necessities. We were often told housekeeping was not available. The price is expensive during a Chiefs game and not worth it. Look elsewhere if you can.

Warn visitors that the turn is immediate off of a hwy going 55mph to try to make a turn after coming over a hill. When you miss the turn it reroutes you through a run down neighborhood for several miles.

I don’t usually right these but…You better be ready for nascar pit stop breaking. The turn for the hotel is at the top of a hill on a curve. You go from 60 to zero fast to make the turn, and pray you don’t get rear ended. Then we walked in to a stuffy hot lobby. The guy Raj, at the front desk told me we had to put down a $100 deposit ( which was not mentioned in “your this is all you pay” ) So we get to our hot room at on the bottom floor (which was fine) with a very noisy AC unit, (which didn’t cool the room down until the next morning). and the curtains are broken, and don’t close all the way. Raj was having a hard time understanding the curtains were broken, so I went back and closed them with some chip clips. I guess it served its purpose, but I thought I was staying at a Holiday Inn, not a Super 8.

Service was horrible checking in, staff was working on a computer problem and we felt like we were intruding. Hotel is run down and smells like a family was cooking in there. Tiles and wallpaper was missing on bathroom wall and the air conditioner smelt like it had a moldy filter! Would not recommend.

The room was in terrible condition. Peeling wallpaper and the toilet seat was not attached to the toilet. Bathtub had been repainted overtop of dirt and hair. All of the common areas were kept uncomfortably hot.

Waited a half hour for the front deak attendant that was "helping another customer" yet came in the front of the hotel. Literally a half hour. Breakfast was lack luster. Heard every sound in hallways 24/7. Walls are super thin.

Nothing good. The rooms I booked were not available because the card readers for the doors were broken. The check in staff couldn't figure out how to authorize the incidental deposit on my company credit card. Once the guys were finally in their rooms, the card reader broke again leaving one guy stranded in the hall and ultimately spending two hours with a maintenance man in his room until 11pm working on the door.

The staff was very nice. This property was clean but clearly older, dark, and shabby. Considering the exorbitant price per night, we expected a much nicer property. The worst problem was finding this hotel! Hotels.com has the wrong address posted for this Holiday Inn Express! We discovered this when we drove to the posted address only to be told we were at the wrong Holiday Inn Express! Hotels.com needs to post the correct address!

There was trash not cleaned up by housekeepers left from previous guests. The pull out bed was absolutely disgusting with bad stains, the third floor smelled of pee with a puppy pad in the hallway. The ice machines didn’t work, the pool was not cleaned very well and felt gritty.
