Weekend trip

The room was clean and beds comfortable. We were very disappointed that the sausage and breakfast potatoes had not been heated thoroughly before putting it in the warmers and should not yet have been served. Staff were very gracious throughout and very apologetic with the breakfast. We would definitely stay again.

We booked two rooms and they both smelled when we entered. One room had the window left open and it smelled like urine. When we went to bed, we found out that the mattress was wet and that we would be unable to use it. We went to the receptionist and they said all they could do was offer clean sheets which would do nothing for the wet mattress and told us that there we no available rooms to switch to so we had to make do. We went back to the rooms to try to figure out sleep arrangements and the the receptionist came to the room to confirm it was wet and said that if there were no shows, then a room might open up to move to. However they said they wouldn't know until midnight which we weren't going to be staying up that late to wait since we had to leave very early the next morning. We tried to get the room comped since it was not able to sleep the two people and they said since it was booked through Expedia that they couldn't do anything about it. So I started a customer support chat with Expedia and they were super helpful but after they called the hotel for confirmation, the hotel employee lied and told Expedia that the bed must be wet because the window was open and it got rained on. The bed in question was not next to the window and the bed that was, was perfectly dry. They also lied and told Expedia that we were offered a new mattress which they did not. Very poor experience would not recommend staying here to anybody.

Location isn't great (next to I-70) and single rooms are small. The windows aren't sealed well for noise reduction. The hotel is clean, staff is friendly and while the breakfast isn't as good as the 3 stars I usually stay in, the price was better than others.
