My mom and I stayed at this hotel in March. The room was small but comfy. We had a small balcony which was very cute. The TV worked and had an English Channel but the telephone never worked. The staff always cleaned our room and gave us fresh towels every day. The receptionists were helpful and friendly too. They helped my mom keeping her cold pads in the fridge (because our room didn’t have a refrigerator). The surrounding area was great. It was easy walking around and using public transportation. There were many restaurants too, with amazing food. I was even able to run in the Main Street because it was safe and convenient. My only complaint is the gym in the hotel. I chose this place because of the gym, since working out is part of my routine. I wasn’t able to use it because it was dirty and in the basement. The equipment was minimal too. I would invest money making it more practical for people like me. Overall, it was a good stay. Great breakfast too.

The rooms are old and dirty. No bottled water in the room. The hallway and elevator are scary. I wouldn’t recommend anybody to stay in this hotel.

Someone must be propping up reviews and ratings for this hotel. The room was dirty and smelled of pee. The bathroom smelled of mildew and the door could not be closed while on the toilet. The only bright spot was warm water in the shower.

Used it as I was visiting the Exposition Centre for work and wanted somewhere closed to GDN, was absolutely fine for my needs, area around it was absolutely fine, few nice local restaurants, plenty of places to eat and drink, nice view from my balcony. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was fine, rooms had been decorated fairly recently.

The elevator was too cramped and awkward to access and the breakfast was pitiful. They did provide balloons for my birthday and gave me matches for birthday candles. It was being renovated so a little messy in some areas.

It was well positioned near Gare Du Nord. There were nice brasseries to eat not far away. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were good. Communal areas - corridors and lift, could have been cleaner but there was painting and decorating going on while I was there so that was understandable. The room itself was very clean and smart

I’ve been to Paris 5 times, and while this stay didn’t hurt my love for the city I would not choose to stay here again. The staff was either fantastic or bordering on rude, the halls were a mess and looked to be under construction for roughly the three hours a day I was in the room in the daytime (and right outside my door), and the hallway itself was lit by motion sensor at night which, to me, is a safety concern. The room itself reeked of mold and the sink didn’t drain but I didn’t want maintenance in because of other reviews about doors being left unlocked, Overall not a pleasant stay but the gentleman who checked me out was a delight. I almost left the first and second nights but losing the $ was a concern.

We had a pleasant stay, though the walls are thin so you can hear the rooms next door (and their conversations!) Not bad all in, service was good and price was exceptionally reasonable. Good location too which helps.

It was my fav at all. Very tight, and pretty run down. It was very close (walking distance) to the train station, and that was our reason for choosing this hotel. But I would never stay here again

Excellent location near Gare de Nord. It is a small, old hotel but does everything well. Staff friendly and price is reasonable. We had a room on a higher floor and found it quiet - other than the thoughtless guests who decide to have long, loud conversations when walking to their room (what is so important that they need to feature everyone else!)
