Seaside Palms had beautiful grounds. There was amazing stretch of beach in the palms with great and plentiful Bali beds available. You can waste your days away there pretty easily. The waves broke far out, which left an amazing calm swimming area. Bring your floaty with a drink holder and it leads to a perfect day on the water. The food is great, but reservations were hard to come by since the resort was full the week we stayed. So we mostly stuck with places with no reservations. Honestly, they are the places with the views of the ocean. The beach barbecue was amazing. My husband and I don’t drink hard alcohol, so we were extremely impressed by the availability of mimosas, champagne, and house wine. The staff was wonderful and friendly.Maria was always quick with the drink delivery. Louis was pretty fabulous for pool activities. We did the catamaran excursion, with the half-day beach pass .The crew on the boat was fantastic and saw a couple turtles in the water.We did not enjoy the Maroma beach day pass, and felt nickel and dimmed, 200 pesos per towel rental and the Bali beds were US$129 to rent, although the service and the staff were great. The Maroma beach was beautiful, white sand beach and it was nice to see another area. The perks of El Dorado Seaside suites and Palms is amazing. Free shuttle service, choice of excursions. Plus, The grounds and beach right ant the Palm are really all you need. I would absolutely recommend this place and love that it was adults only.

The. Stay was amazing! Every staff member was welcoming and hospitable. While there are too many to name, our bellhop Humberto and front desk person Victor were amazing! They always recognzied us around the property and victor even remembered us by name the following few days after checking in! They’re both awesome among other fantastic people we encountered here!

The room was nice. Staff was fairly nice but rides on golf carts were limited. Food was no good but two out of eight days. Pools were cold and shallow. Drinks were hit or miss. El Dorado was the best drink. Walls in the rooms were so thin you could hear neighbors fighting. We booked an adults resort to avoid fighting and get the best experience. This was not the case. Additionally reservations for restaurants is limited to people they know.

Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are a bit older but were very spacious and clean. The food was sometimes hit or miss, but overall not bad. Drink service was amazing and the beach is gorgeous.

If booking through Expedia Airport shuttle is CANCÚN AIRPORT ONLY, Expedia did not outline this & I was screwed over!! This property was beautifully done, good efforts on entertainment, but felt amateur & not unique, The staff are very friendly & helpful, however the service was a bit slow, we were there when the resort was fully. Getting into the a la carte resturants was very difficult( 3 onsite). The buffets are tiresome, pretty much the same just a tad different. When it’s all inclusive I wish tipping, even at Buffetts & snacks was restricted. It got a bit much. They didn’t make you feel that way I just wish it was a ground rule like in other resorts I’ve been to, Tipping restricted! Upgrade the ecotour to the bonanza tour it comes with horseback riding & swim in cenote. The guide was very funny & friendly. Tulum is very very expensive they want to charge you pesos for everything including a beach chair with no umbrella in some areas. The Ruins was cool, but if you like to know more of the history or stories pay $1200 pesos for a guide. Wish I did. And again the government there is insisting further taxes & fees now, just to walk about the Tulum Ruins. It cost a total of $400pesos per person which was about $44CAD plus another $15CAD to park in a pitted gravel back area. Total for two with parking was $950pesos (~$95-$105CAD, no tour bus, no guide) Glad I experienced Tulum,would I do it again?Not without thinking twice for the amount it was!

Overall experience at El Dorado - as first time travellers - was excellent! Staff were very accommodating, hospitable and joyous which added to the overall atmosphere of the property. We were greeted every single time, offered drinks or food and were kept BUSY; the property itself had plenty of activities that one could partake in which aids with the stress of planning. Lastly, the affiliations with Lomas was great as we didn’t have to worry about transportation from and to the airport and also for the excursions. Again, EXCELLENT PLACE WITH EXCELLENT WORKERS.

The shuttle service was good, especially on the way back to the airport, El Savador was funny and professional. But the rest wasn’t good. I didn’t get the room a reserved. My wife and I were assigned a downgraded room due to full booking/overbooking. The room was dark, smelled funny, and poorly maintained. Overall the whole property is dated and needs a refresh. The hospitality staff were friendly and the food was ok. Based on my experience I wouldn’t recommend the resort nor go back.
