Ventilation for the bathroom

We found hair on our bed and on the walls in the bathroom. No ventilation in the bathroom. So, if you take a hot shower, everything gets soaked.

Hotel was fine the room was quite a bit smaller than pictured and the mini fridge did not work. The area around the hotel was industrial so the hotel seemed a bit out of place. But less than 10 minutes to the airport for an early flight was convenient.

Nice hotel near the airport. Convenient to get to. Friendly staff. We reached after midnight but had no trouble checking in. They have free parking in front of the hotel which is nice. Excellent breakfast buffet in the morning.

I was connecting to a flight the next day and needed to spend the night. The hotel is very nice and located in a quiet area. I had dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent. The lamb was superb. Room was good and the staff was very friendly.

I chose this hotel based on their rating, facilities and accommodation. It is one hour from Reykjavik. After a late afternoon meeting in Reykjavik, I drove to the hotel for over 1.25 hours (rush hour), only to learn that because of a pipe burst effecting my room I’d been moved to a lesser accommodation down the street. I had a much less superior room, received no refund for what I would’ve paid had I booked the second hotel and room directly, and waited almost an hour for the room to be ready at the second hotel. I had another meeting in Reykjavik early in the morning (I did not when I booked the hotel originally), so I would have just stayed in Reykjavik had the hotel notified me there was a problem with my room and I’d be moved. I received no discount, assistance from the first hotel, or consideration, and the experience cost me about 4 hours of time plus the opportunity to have had a fine dinner in Reykjavik. Not thoughtful service at and shocking I was offered no discount for a smaller room at a lesser hotel, let alone any consideration for the inconvenience.

When we got to our room, it was 29 degrees Celsius. We tried to control the thermostat and turned to 16 C, and opened all windows (it was snowing). We alerted the desk and also asked for a lighter bed cover as it was so hot and the bed covers were quite thick - they said they had nothing lighter. After three hours, the room was no cooler and we were uncomfortably hot and knew we would not be able to sleep like that. After reporting this and requesting a new room, we were then told we would need to take a downgrade, which we did not dispute. This was true, the new room was significantly smaller and the television did not work, so we had to watch a movie on our tablet. At this point, we just wanted to get sleep, so didn't even bother to report the TV. We were so impressed with the common areas, so dos
