When I checked into the room, it was filthy was never cleaned. I had to go back downstairs for another room which was to small for my needs but least it was clean. I will not stay there again

Pros- very kind staff the entire stay. Kind talk gentleman from AZ checked us in. The woman running the breakfast is an absolute gem. She is kind and helpful and you can tell she is a genuinely nice human and not just putting it on for the sake of customer service. Really she was phenomenal. The main areas were very clean. The breakfast was as expected for any hotel. Cereal, bagels, hot options, juice, etc. Overall to be an older property, it’s been pretty well maintained. Couldn’t hear any outside noise at night. Cons- our room was so humid it was near impossible to get comfortable. It felt like the AC was working but we both kept waking up so hot and damp. We didn’t realize how bad it had been until we came back up from breakfast and walked through the door and got hit in the face with the humidity. As such the room had a mildewy sticky odor and feel. Also the bed was very hard and we had 5 very small pillows and it made it hard to get comfy. Lastly the hotel is tucked away in a busy restaurant area and it was kind of pain to get in and out of on Friday night. This could be a plus if a guest didn’t want to have to go out for a meal, there are many close options literally in the parking lot.

Mostly a good experience,car was not stolen or vandalized,room was comfy,shower was a bit of a challenge but plenty of hot water.free breakfast was great!

The property showing its eggs. That being said, a bit was comfortable. It was very convenient for us as a stop on our way to Nashville for our niece's wedding. He found a good chicken place Gus's famous to get our take out dinner and the room itself was pretty comfortable. But the toilet did not refill itself so we had to use the ice bucket to take water out of the faucet to make it flush every time The heating and air conditioning unit made it terrible. No ways. I turned it off twice and it came back on which I'm not sure I understand. I always pick places with a fitness center and a pool. My wife likes to swim in the morning. I like to exercise. They're on different floors. There's no bathroom near the gym. It's a very minimal gym and pretty low on a lot of what you expect in any hotel fitness center like exercise balls, exercise mats, large array of weights. On the plus side, the people who ran the breakfast buffet in the morning were very friendly. Susan who checked us in was very sweet and very informative. I'm trying to learn the older I get so what I should have done would have been to call the hotel after I made the reservation and confirm that the pool was open, which it wasn't and that that it was a decent fitness center to work at it.

MISTAKE

AC was not working , no other rooms available offered to let me out of reservation or discount for the first night , - checked in around 6:15 pm went to room / went to dinner & returned around 10:30 pm did not feel comfortable trying to find another room / would have taken too long & had to be somewhere @ 7:30 the next morning gave us another room 2nd day when we returned from obligation then ran my card again when I checked out for same original amount which has tied up 900. for a very disappointed stay !

Very pleasant. Bed was comfortable. Pillows offered choices of firmness. TV more limited than card showed. Shower with Dove products refreshing. Towels longer than most hotels at this price point. Breakfast limited but adequate.
