Unfortunately, our experience at Eaton HK fell well below expectations, especially for what was meant to be a special trip.
After a 14-hour flight, we were hoping for some understanding or basic hospitality, particularly since we had previously mentioned that we were celebrating our honeymoon. Sadly, this was completely overlooked, we were treated like just another customer, with no warmth or consideration.
The room was very small, making it extremely difficult to manage our luggage, and it also had an uncomfortable, unpleasant odor that made the stay far from relaxing.
What stood out most, however, was the unfriendly attitude of the staff. There was a noticeable lack of courtesy and hospitality throughout our stay, which made us feel unwelcome.
The food options inside the building are extremely expensive, especially when compared to the many better and more affordable options available just outside in the neighborhood.
We also tried one of the hotel’s restaurants, and despite clearly mentioning that we were guests staying at the hotel, we were given the worst table. The experience left us feeling uncomfortable and, honestly, discriminated against, as if assumptions were made about us based on how we looked or what we could afford.
Overall, this was a disappointing experience that lacked empathy, hospitality, and basic guest care. Sadly, we would not choose to stay here again.
