Incredible ryokan , a villa that can host 5 people, hard to beat with an outside hot tub! Room could use some blackout blinds, but otherwise highly recommend if you are looking for a ryokan !

Free transport to popular sites.

Loved the location. Close to everything. They even offer free transport to gold Pavillion temple And the bamboo forest. Saved our family of 5 about $30 and headaches of finding the buses and stops, transfers etc. they pick up at the hotel and drop off near the sites. Book it as soon as you book the hotel so you can plan your travel. Also, ask about comp like free water or free breakfast if you don’t use their cleaning service or the bathrobes/slippers.
