The location is excellent, and the highlight of the resort is definitely the hot springs—very convenient and relaxing! The breakfast and restaurant were also great. The only downside (and sometimes a noticeable one) is the interior. It felt quite old-fashioned (not in an antique way), and the washroom was very basic with older-style fixtures like the faucet and shower. Still, we really enjoyed the hot springs and the food!

Hit springs in the resort are a huge plus. They are not crowded as well. You have different hot springs with different levels of temperature as you prefer. Main drawback is that the cheapest rooms are located right beside the highway and it's very noisy during the night.

Everything as expected. Clean room(room maintenance everyday) Nice garden and volcano views. Staff was friendly didnt have any issue . One down side there is no coffee table on balcony only 2 chairs. Relaxing hot springs sometimes overcrowded. Breakfast buffet was ok with a lot of food selections.

Overall, a great place to stay. The breakfast buffet had a large assortment of food options: something for everyone. The thermal hot springs were great; hottest at the top and gradually getting colder heading back to the bottom area. My only complaints; the bathroom window was missing a window slat and bugs and little lizards would come in through it, and the roof of our unit was metal so the rain storms were really loud.

Food was not the best, plus the thermal water pool looked green and murky. It didn’t looked like the other thermal waters around the area. The room was nice but some how not well maintained. I found a spider web around the light next to the bed and bathroom mirror was little dirty on the first day. After that, the lady who cleaned the room did a great job on cleaning the room. The whole facility is beautiful.

We stayed for 5 nights and loved the location as it was quiet but close enough to drive to La Fortuna and to activities. It was very quiet all the time, which is exactly what we were looking for. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with a view of the volcano too. Not all the hot springs were open and not sure why but the ones that were, were so great. We enjoyed them in the day and after dinner. The pool was refreshing! The breakfast buffet was pretty good and had quite a few vegan options. We did have to ask for soy milk daily but we were glad they had it. We bought some granola at the grocery store and had it with the other items available. We had a superior room and feel this is where the hotel is not doing so great. The rooms are old and tired and really need updated, especially the bathrooms. The chairs on our deck were mouldy and really unusable. The rooms smell musty and are always damp, which isn’t really that surprising since it’s a rainforest but I think some extra cleaning and closing gaps in the doors and windows to outside could help with the dampness and also the bugs. The staff were friendly and always helpful. Overall, our stay was good but we wouldn’t stay here again, especially for how expensive it was.
